Recently i got inspired by a friend and decided to create a Idv au, specifically one where the Perfumer is a serial killer :)

Tw: death and poison

The Vénéneuse Sisters Au

(Vénéneuse means toxic in French :))

1. Because im self indulgent, in this Au, both Chloe and Vera are alive and working together! While Chloe is the one behind the murders and creating the perfumes, Vera is the one to help with advertisement of the business!

2. Infact, Chloe’s first victim was their parents. After realizing how sick and twisted their favoritism was, the two come up with a plan to take them out- It was simple, spiking their food was much easier then expected. Vera had a solid alibi, simply because while she knew about the murder she made sure to be out the house at the time…and Chloe? No one cared about her, so they simply assumed she was in her shop… Eventually, the people thought it was simply a accident..

3. Infact, for the time the two spent in Grasse, that was their tactic. Everyone cared about Vera, and the two sisters learned to use that to their advantage. With everyone paying attention to her, no one ever stopped to ask where was her sister….

4. The way Chloe kills is simple- poison. And she is meticulous and careful about what she chooses-after all, why kill someone in a way you know you may get caught? Her go-to’s are arsenic, cyanide, thallium, polonium-210, ect- those poisons are hard to detect, even today, despite our medical progress (Im not sure when to set this au, either 1899 or 1950)

5. She chooses depending on many factors- one of them being how fast she wants them both- for example enough cyanide can kill a person quickly, but thallium is slow and yet hard to detect.

6. And she is careful- making sure to spike drinks or food unnoticed, the poor victims harldy notice…well. I wouldn’t call them poor. Chloe’s victims are mainly suitors who can’t accept no for a answer, or generally just creeps.

7. Now lets assume the two decide to move away, maybe to spread their business… now, Chloe shows her face and makes it clear that she is Vera’s twin…and yet, somehow that doesn’t stop her. She is still careful about it, but atleast now, people can credit her for it.

8. Vera is also perfect at providing alibies, and sometimes, she is the one to flirt with said victims, and get close to them enough to spike their drinks.

9. While Chloe is the one behind all the murders, she is aware of thr fact that her sister makes work so much easier- which makes her grow even fonder of her.

10. Its not frequent that someone grows suspicious of Chloe- when that happens, she is quick to take them out…that is, if Vera doesn’t do it first.

(im definitely adding more stuff to this because its actually fun, but i hope you like it!)
