The party was in full swing, the air thick with cheap perfume, sweat, and the bass of some overplayed club mix. Winter wasn't even sure whose house this was—just that it was big, expensive, and filled with the exact type of people she tried to avoid.
And yet, here she was, leaning against the kitchen counter, watching a group of guys take turns admiring themselves in the reflection of the microwave door. All sharp jawlines, designer sneakers, and the same rehearsed smirk. The kind of guys who knew they were pretty, who expected the world to bend over backwards just because they flashed a grin.
"Let me guess," she said, tilting her head as one of them caught her staring. "You're about to tell me you’re different from the rest?"
Open to || females only Muse: Casey. 23-27 . straight. he/him pronouns Connection: friends, fwb, anything along these lines
Casey wiped the blood from his lip, the taste of copper metallic in his mouth. He knew he couldn't stay. Not this time. His dad had gone too far. They'd been in fights before -- Casey had experienced broken bones from his father's wrath, but something in the way his dad had looked at him tonight, eyes blazing with a fury that made Casey's skin crawl, was different. His dad had even reached for the knife off of the kitchen table. Casey was sure he'd only been saved because of the knock at the door. He needed to get out, get far away. He thought of his friend, her bright smile and the way her eyes crinkled when she laughed. He'd insisted they were just friends, afraid of admitting the truth. But now, with his heart pounding in his chest and his stomach twisting with fear, he knew he had to tell her. "I need you. I need to get away, and I need you to come with me." He didn't know if she'd say yes, but he had to try. The thought of staying, of facing his dad's wrath again, was unbearable.
OPEN STARTER, OPEN TO ALL. PLOT: Becca (she/her || 24-29) called your muse after waking up covered in blood with no recollection of what happened. This can go anywhere I honestly don’t mind but if you’d like to plot it out more feel free to message me.
Becca sat on the edge of the bed, the dingy motel room a stark backdrop. A sharp rap on the door shattered the silence, leaving her frozen, unable to speak or move. The door swung open before she could react, and they stepped inside. Their words were a blur, lost in the fog of her own shock. She stared down at her hands, crimson stains mirroring the sticky crimson clinging to her clothes. Her gaze lingered on a crust of dried blood under her nails, a silent indictment. 'I tried to wash it off,' she whispered, her voice barely a rasp, 'but I couldn't.' Finally, she met their gaze, a flicker of clarity piercing the haze of confusion. 'I don't know what happened,' she choked out, her voice laced with anguish, 'I can't remember anything.'
Who: Open Background: Owen is a single father and is new to the neighbourhood. “I’m so sorry, my daughter is at that age where all she wants is to live her adventurous life. I hope she didn’t scare you too much.” Owen and his daughter had moved into the apartment complex recently. His daughter was a good kid, but she was also a free spirit; she loved running around and hiding in places. It didn’t matter if Owen had told her a thousand times to stay away from other people’s property, if she wanted to explore she was going to find a way to explore. Which was why his neighbour found Lily in their garage. “Again, I apologise for the intrusion, and I assure you it won’t happen again. Right, sweetheart?” Owen’s gaze shifted to his daughter as the little girl nodded her head. “I, um — we’re new here, actually. Moved in three days ago. Despite this regrettable first impression, I’m Owen. and this is Lily. It’s nice to meet you.” Owen’s smile radiated warmth as he extended a welcoming hand.

It was the aftermath of another shift, and it had been a rough one. Quinn had lost two patients in the matter of 12 hours. He'd come home exhausted, both physically and mentally. All the other had done was show concern and yet a screaming match had happened. She’d locked herself in the bedroom while he’d gone to have a cigarette. A few hours had passed when he went back inside, finally hearing the bedroom door open. “I was out of line,” he muttered. “Sorry, I’m so hard to deal with sometimes. I don’t mean to be.”

Astrid felt her heart jump into her throat as she’d walked into the conversation. She almost didn’t want to believe what she’d heard. “Is that true?” she asked him. Her boyfriend wasn’t supposed to lie, right? “Am I a fucking bet?”
I'd love to find some new people to write and plot with. Please give this post a like if I can come drop you a message to plot <3

he was somewhat surprised that they even bothered to show up in the first place let alone to agree to his prior request to hangout. as he really wasn't sure about them wanting to even be seen with him in the first place or even be associated with him around campus but still he was glad that even if they had known each other and gotten to become friends with one another in such a short space of time they were still up to hanging out with him as they both clearly had nothing to do on this lazy sunday morning with having no classes today nor anything else exciting to do online he decided to take that plunch and send them a quick text inviting them out to meet the nearby football field across their dorms on campus and he just thought that they could combine their heads together and come up with something excited to do that day. casually leaning against the handrail as he waited for them to arrive though it did get him worried that they even bother showing up together figuring out that they'd something else better to do that day but to his surprise there they were standing in front of him with a small smile creeping up onto his features as he stepped closer to them shoving both of his hands into his pockets “ well i'm glad that you FINALLY showed up. ” he joked letting out a soft chuckled in response before wrapping one of his arms around theirs as they began to walk away from the football field “ joking aside i'm just glad that you actually showed up today ─── now enough with the sappy stuff where did you want to go today , my treat maybe ? ” he continued letting out another soft chuckle in response with his smile growing even wider thinking of what kind of trouble that they'd end up causing today and who knows ? this would probably be their chance of getting closer with one another.

despite only being together for a couple of months there was no way that he could ever leave them. even if he wanted to which neither one of them did want to in the first place due in fact that through the course that short span of time dating each other they had slowly , but surely gotten obsessed over one another that there was no one in this world that could and would have them no matter what that no matter how toxic or abusive their relationship might have been both past and present they were never in a million years ever leave each other why even would they ? especially knowing that they were all that they needed in this life as they could easily cut off contact with friends and family without a single notice and be with each other. well it was while they were at a party for a mutual friend of theirs that the dark side of their relationship did FINALLY come into light plain for everyone to see as they had made their way through the party greeting the people that they knew as they did with ares only really staying by the sidelines keeping his clear distance from everyone knowing how they were so possessive of each other especially in social situations like this only giving the occasional nod here & there to other people in order not to provoke those jealous tendencies of each others now ! well with that being said though they didn't heed their own advice it seems as from the corner of his eyes he notice them standing and talking to someone a little too close for his liking instantly seeing red as he pushed his way through the crowd before reaching his intended target grabbing them by collar of their shirt roughly baring his fangs “ just what do you think you're doing with what's mine buddy ? ”
“I brought you something to eat.” They needed to be somewhat alive if they were to be valuable to her father’s experiment. The hybrid takes a steps back from the cage, large eyes cautiously surveying the captive.
context: serena’s father, joham, is a vampire scientist set on making more hybrids but also on how to further “improve” the vampire species. he will periodically conduct experiments on humans, other supernatural creatures or other vampires to test these hypothesis.

This new world was something else. It was full of so many people, so much colour and noise. The thought of exploring all it had to offer may have once intrigued Didyme, but that was BEFORE her dear brother had placed a dagger in her heart and left her to rot under buildings for millennia. Waking up, the betrayal felt as the day prior, and now everything else was simply overwhelming her senses. She couldn't quite place how long it had been, but long enough that almost everything about the world had changed. When she began asking after her brother, a man had asked her if she'd tried looking him up on something called "Face Book". It was like they were speaking in tongues.
As day begins to break, the ancient vampire decides to bunker down. While she wants to think it was grave robbers who took her daylight ring she fears the more likely explanation - that it was Aro. Another betrayal, though it paled in comparison to his sororicide. Breaking the lock on a place that looked abandoned, a gasp escapes her as she realises she's not alone. Though as quickly as she'd startled, a thought begins to form. She hadn't seen any other vampires since waking, so she hopes if this stranger is another of her kind maybe they might know where Aro is.
"Forgive me, I did not realise this place was occupied." Her voice delicate, graceful. Whether it were another vampire, or simply human prey, her tone intended to make them let their guard down.
