im supposed to be doing math rn but the voices and the spirits............ they tell me to make irken ocs
Bill Cipher's voice sounds like what you'd get if an Irken infant were abandoned on earth to be raised by a pack of sleazy used car salesmen
New oc just dropped, say hi- .. i have too many ocs ANYWAYS- SORA!! Idk why i made her but yah she exists now :p
Hey y'all, I'm watching Invader Zim again cause it's my favorite show and very nostalgic for me, and I love it a whole lot. Anyway, I know it's a show where they didn't put much thought into many of the details, but I'm a person who likes to overthink stupid little details. Now, on to my point, one thing that always stuck out to me for no reason was the sticky note that started it all.
It's clear that someone felt the need to mark some mystery planet just beyond the Irken map, whether or not they meant to mark Earth or some other planet vaguely to that side is debatable, but why mark it at all if there was nothing of interest out that way? You wouldn't. However, you would mark a mystery planet if you thought it was important. Perhaps some foreign intel from another species gave you clues that there was something useful over there, or maybe you were catching odd signals out that way. What's more is with the way Red and Purple talk I don't think that note was left by either of them, if they knew something they wanted to explore was out there they would never have sent Zim of all people, and they talk like they don't think any planet exists beyond their map and are genuinely surprised that Zim found one. If I had to guess, I'd say it was left by a previous tallest who never got around to sending anyone out there and went unnoticed after that until Red and Purple needed a convenient excuse to send Zim as far away as possible. After all, we know Zim caused the death of two tallests in his lifetime alone. It's highly possible they had left unfinished business behind.
Basically, this was a long-winded way of saying that I think the note that marks earth was always interesting.
GUYSSS PLS GO SHOW SOME LOVE TO MY AU IF YOU CAN
(Srry if it took so long, school)
INTRO POST | NEXT (PRONOLOG)
Oh yeah it's intergalactic “Bring your dad to work” day Red’s alone cause Purple decided he’d rather be a dad of every other irken in existence then Zim’s.
Anyone who’s 14 and under and is an anti dosen’t have to read this part. Listen, you all should be ashamed of yourselves, imagine teaching children that if you ship two fictional characters together that they should go die. Now I’m not giving the younger antis a hard time bc they’re YOUNG and the older antis are manipulating them. if you hate ships hate them, if you love ships love them. But when you tell other people to die over a fucking FICTIONAL ship that won’t even become canon in the franchise that’s when it becomes a problem. You guys want to talk shit and then not listen to a single word on what anyone else has to say, you know that Jhonen is messing with you guys right? Like yes Zim is 160 in Earth years but in irk years he’s SIXTEEN. Also with the logic that Zim is an adult he’s abusing Dib, it’s child abuse. “B-but OP!!! It’s fiction!1!1!1!1!!” if that’s your immediate response then you just proved your shit wrong. You can still hate ships with irkens and humans but that dosen’t mean you have to force your shit down other people’s throats, but how about if you’re seeing ZaDr/ZaGr/whatever on your feed? Well then stop looking at those posts, stop following people who make those posts and keep to yourself. Sorry but this shit needs to be said, I lost a whole group of friends bc I shipped ZaDr and honestly I don’t care about that anymore, we couldn’t put our differences aside and we fell apart.
And as for the kids, it’s not right to tell people to die over a fictional ship or anything fictional in general. Please treat people with kindness even though you don’t ship ZaDr, or TaGr, or ZaGr, this goes for any fandom in general.
Moral of the story, stop getting pent up over shit you can fucking avoid, it’s the internet.
