right, so im combing through the series to get references for my animatic only to make a discovery that’s making me go insane.

It’s the pattern of Anthony’s vests.

we all know about them matching colors, BUT HIM ADOPTING INDIAN PATTERNS???

he is not longer “Viscount Anthony Bridgerton”

he wants everybody to know, without a shadow of doubt, that he is now, in fact, “Anthony, Husband to Viscountess Kathani Bridgerton”

that is the only title he cares about at this point and i 100% support him on that.

lol i wanted to see if i could hold back on sharing this, but nope. (failing at being a mysterious girlie I guess)

while waiting for part 2 IS TAKING FOREVER, it is also a perfect opportunity to hopefully finish this before then, especially since…ive heard through the grapevine that is TikTok that this is a scene that will NOT be happening in the show 👀😒

so i am fulfilling my duty of making up for the robbed scenes.

(any encouragement is appreciated. 👉👈 im trying to maintain a steady flow of discipline and motivation to finish this ahhhh!)

to make matters even more insane (maybe even worse) is that the first time either one of them said the other’s given name was during a time of distress…

You know what’s insane to think about?

On screen Kate has called Anthony “Anthony” twice.

And he’s called her Kate twice as well.

hand holding/touching/playing is such a kanthony thing and im so glad to see them just running with it

alright, about an hour before it premieres, I just need to get this off my chest:

im feeling excited, exhilarated, and even terrified because in about an hour, things will become canon. Things will be established and headcanons and predictions can die. Of course, there is part 2 to allow us to still guess, but soon, things will become canon.

For the past two years, for me personally, I’ve felt like there is this little bubble where kanthony is what is based off S2 and is then expanded upon in only fanfics, where anything can happen (literally) but now, whatever happens in S3, will solidify and make real what trajectory they intend to take with the characters whether we like it or not.

What I’m trying to say is, this is sort of my proper farewell to this little safe bubble of just kanthony as it is now, because it will most certainly change after today. That includes their spot as the most recent, therefore, most talked about and most liked couple of the two from the series. I just hope and pray they won’t be sidelined or forgotten for seasons to come (I thought them being heads of the family was safe enough but I guess not) and I shall look forward to simply seeing more of them, in whatever way possible.

i had wanted to post something to celebrate the world premiere of the season, but didn’t have the time to clean anything up.

then i heard from a lil birdy post that said that JB and S reunited at the premiere on the day of Kanthony’s wedding anniversary May 13….so I thought i’d just do a lovely lil kanthony sketch dump cuz why not.

ANYWAYS, yippee it’s done. my first, fully illustrated and rendered piece since *checks calendar* a long time. im good on anatomy, don’t ask me to draw backgrounds (yet)

the brain rot of them has gotten me through my spring semester of junior year and I simply CANNOT wait till I see them again. I’ll take whatever crumbs I can get from the season and draw out the rest on my own :)))

If I had the energy and time, I would make an animatic of this entire chapter’s conversation. The dialogue and writing is just screaming to be acted out.

Also, I can’t help but think the song “Bad Idea” from the musical “Waitress” is perfect for their dynamic in this particular story, especially for Kate.
