anyways trauma Was told that if I didn't get into college/get a degree_ get married_ and have kids by a certain age I'd go to hell I was also routinely told that my genetic illnesses (prior to diagnosis when no one knew what was up) were some kind of divine punishment that I was a horrible person to have deserved anything remotely wrong in my life at the age of like five to be honest neither parent was religious but a VAST majority of the adults in my life from teachers to family friends to doctors were and boy did they like to dismiss and gaslight better phrasing/more context beloved
