nono i can still make this work googling that movie premise was kinda crazy wdym mr tibbs is a detective investigating the murder of a prostitute almost like... dennis doesn’t see himself as a victim but more of a whore (as frank said) but he's still seeking someone to care enough about him to study his case like yeh it's a reference but why that one in particular “he likes action movies” sure sure but this is more interesting anyhow thank you tho i had no idea about that trilogy
