Actually my first post but doing the honors of participating @mustainegf

Takes place in 1997

I’ve been hanging out with ‘Metallica’ for quite a while now, and today is no exception, seeing the glint of snow covering every little patch of grass, making the house a bit chilly, as my mind was somewhere else I heard someone call.

“You’re missing out; come on!” Lars yelled out for me. I sighed softly before joining them back at the table where we were currently playing card games, having alcohol in the mix as well.

I sat back down next to Jason and Lars, bringing my head up and catching his gaze. I’ve had a thing for James, but in my head there was no way I could be any more to him than just a friend. His icy blue eyes scanned my face before looking away and taking a sip of the whisky on his hands. I zoned out for a bit just thinking about everything—my job, my friends, and James.

My thoughts were soon broken when I heard Kirk yell, “Fuck off you cheated!” I smile at the little outburst of his holding back a laugh that could potentially get him angrier.

“Nuh uh you lose” Lars grinned at him. This went on for about 20 more minutes before Jason decided to go back home, then Kirk, and finally Lars, Unfortunately the snow started to get heavier making James stay back leaving me and him alone.

To pass time we sat on the couch together watching some show, the fireplace providing warmth and the fiery light illuminating his facial features so well. He looked so good, and I couldn’t help but thirst over him.

“You okay?” He chuckled and looked at me I nearly blushed of embarrassment but quickly nodded. “yeah I’m fine—just feel a little..” I trailed off, I didn’t know how I felt and wasn’t going to tell him anyway.

“Feel what?” He asked, and again I shook my head. “It’s nothing James really” I quickly looked away from him landing my gaze onto the TV instead.

But he didn’t take that hell no; instead, he grabbed my chin and turned my face to look at him “look at me” he muttered, my lips parted slightly my eyes widened at the little gesture he showed.

“Tell me, what is it darlin’?” He rasped out, I felt his face getting closer to mine I swallowed thickly “I feel-..uhm..” I couldn’t mutter the courage to say anything but I heard him chuckle “do you have feelings for me?”

I stayed quiet I could barely talk, in danger of stuttering so badly he might laugh, so instead I kissed him and to my surprise he wasted no time in kissing me back, placing his hand on my waist and the other cupping my face deepening the kiss.

I pulled away slightly and I felt him smile against my lips “I waited so long to do that y’know that?” I smiled “you shouldn’t have waited.”
