life update

top of the afternoon to you. i got some dr pepper, it’s so good. probably my favorite drink next to water (i don’t drink anything else really). i’m spending the day with my mom and we just got The Habit. i got a burger with lettuce and avocado on it. my mom and i talked for a bit, apparently my step brother is moving to texas after he graduates????? also, he never responded to my happy birthday text (W or L brother?).

mom is currently smoking a cig ok wait she just got into the car. okay. listening to working man by rush, about to go visit my sister and watch her do a tennis thing. pretty lit if i do say myself. i got some jorts on, a black long sleeve tee, black vans and black leg warmers. nobody knows im wearing blue hello kitty socks except for myself. and i guess people who read this… okay anyways!!

after scrolling through tumblr for a bit, i noticed theres a ton of people who post fanart and their theories and what they think of the ponies and its making me doubt my love for my little pony. i love mlp so much, i've watched it ever since i was a child and ive grown up with that show, but seeing how everyone is so like... idk this feels like a sport and im losing miserably please spare me im sorry i dont have all the facts i love mlp i do please

I accidentaly made that gif too big, so Scribbly, lmk If you want it even smaller/bigger or if you want any separated frames. It's resized version to ~500x500px

Moving on from Minecraft dragons for a little while, here are some newer designs for the MLP mane 6, and some notes on their designs

Twilight is obviously a Nightwing, I also made her animus to go with the whole alicorn thing. She has the ability to create prophecies too. I tried to stick to her og color palette but I added some darker colors to really make her accurate to her tribe.

Rarity is literally so Icewing coded, the color pallet fits well within an icewing design, I added some more purple tho just to add to the overall design. I gave her some diamonds imbedded in her chest as a nod to her cutie mark.

Pinkie is a rainwing because its a brightly colored dragon but also because they can change colors, and in the show when pinkie is like super depressed her colors are duller so I thought a color changing dragon would be really good at reflecting that. I imagine that she was adopted and raised by mudwings on a rock farm.

Applejack was originally going to be a sandwing since her colors matched well with them but I ended up choosing mudwing. Mudwings are family oriented dragons and also really muscular so it really fits Applejack. I even drew her hat. I tried to add some speckles on her thigh that looks like apples but they look a little more like pumpkins or bell peppers tbh.

Went through a lot of changes with Rainbow Dash but landed on skywing for her. Her personality really screams skywing and also her whole character revolves around flying really fast which is a Skywing speciality. Idk how canon her colors are but im pretty sure skywings can be grey so I decided to make her a blueish gray. Instead of having actual rainbow patterns they’re paint on racing stripes.

Fluttershy is a silkwing for more obvious reasons, and like Pinkie it was easier to stay on pallete for her colors since silks can be just about any color. I gave her some cool patterns on her wings and some speckles on her body just to add more to the design.

That’s all I have to say about them really !! Im thinking of doing something for the princesses and maybe discord too.

In the future im gonna start posting more original character content just cause it’s easier for me but I will still be doing fan designs !!

🩵Princess Cadence Redesign🩷

I don't have any problems with the design of Cadence, except, probably, how casual and relaxed her hairstyle looks (yeah, Tia and Luna also have loose hair, but Idk, since their hair is fluttering, I don't have a similar issue with them).

My most hated trope in mlp is that Twilight is justifiably angry at something, but she is wrong and in the end she should apologize.

Are Twilight's friends acting irresponsibly and childishly while all their friends and family suffer in slavery? Twilight is such a meany that she was the only one who was serious and tried to take at least some action to save Equestria 😡. Does her annoying fan follow her around and disrespect her personal space, although it's obvious that she's uncomfortable with it? Well, it's her own fault that she didn't say she didn't like it (it sounds very much like victim blaming), so she needs to apologize to him for yelling at him, duh 🙄.

I f#cking hate this trope so much, you can't imagine.

As for me, out of the whole three, Cozy could get redemption. Like, she's a damn child! Okay, if she was the same age as mane six, then it would be okay. But no! What did our all-understanding and forgiving heroes do when a child stole all the magic because she misunderstood the meaning of friendship? Would they have found the reason for her behavior? Put her on the right track? Was she even sent to a correctional center or some other similar place? No, what kind of nonsense is this? Let's send the kid to Tartarus, where one of the most dangerous enemies of Equestria is located! And it's very strange. As for me, Cozy committed less evil in season 8 than the same Starlight, who enslaved an entire village, brainwashed them all, and then tried to destroy the current timeline, which could translate to total horror. Just, can someone explain to me the reason why a child who still has a place to grow up was imprisoned in a stone, and an adult dictator was given a chance to improve? It's just weird. It's a weird prioritization of who can improve and who can't.
