Part 1
“You look great babe,” You smiled at Thomas, straightening his tie.
He gave you a slight smile, then looked away again.
You where out for the first time in a month. For the first time since the incident. You were eager to be getting out of the house, Thomas on the other hand was not…
Over the past month, you’ve stayed in with him, in your apartment , and slowly you had been getting him to let down his barriers again, trust you again, but that was a whole different ball game when you were out on the streets.
While you saw it as an innocent, much needed hangout with your friends, Thomas saw it as an opportunity for you to be unfaithful again. He couldn’t control you when you were in public. You were under easy reigns in your house, but here, not at all.
As you waited for the four of your friends to arrive, you stood outside the restaurant, and tried to make conversation with Thomas, but be gave you short answers. So you just sat quietly on the bench beside him.
You leaned back on the bench, when the door of the restaurant opened, and out came a bad looking boy with a rose in his hand.
Your heart ached for the poor boy. He looked around for a couple minutes, and then sat on the bench next to yours.
He looked at you, and you gave him a small smile. “I was stood up,” He managed a small laugh, “Can you tell?”
“Sorry,” You said to him. “She’s a bitch,”
He laughed a little bit more, and it made you feel good, you’d made him laugh.
“David.” He said, holding out his hand.
“Y/N,” You grinned back.
Then he slipped the rose into your hand, and got to his feet. “You can have it,”
You began to protest. “Oh no! Maybe she’ll still come, you should keep it!”
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw four people get out of a car. Erin, Mandy, Daniel, and Tanner. The friends you were meeting for dinner with.
But David pulled you out of your thoughts. “No, I don’t want it.” He laughed. “Take it.”
You took the rose from him, and gave him a small glare before chuckling. “Thanks.”
Before he left, he smirked, and leaned down to your ear. “By the way, she’s not a bitch, and she’s not coming back, because she is a he.”
Your eyes widened and you nearly choked, then you just laughed as he walked away.
Thomas, stood up from the bench, and stalked towards the door of the restaurant, saying a short hello to your guys’ friends.
You had really hoped he thought nothing of your small encounter with David, but knowing him, he did.
But for now, he seemed normal, so you just let it go.
You were escorted to your table, where a perky brunette greeted you cheerfully. “Hi guys! My name is Georgia, and I’ll be your waitress tonight. Can I start you off with something to drink?“ She was quite pretty… Long legs, long shiny hair, thick dark eye lashes. High cheek bones. Anyone would be lying if they said they weren’t intimidated by her.
Thomas spoke quickly, “Yeah, can I have a vodka soda?”
Your eyes widened as the waitress spoke back, Thomas usually wasn’t a big drinker… “Sure thing!” She smiled.
You stared at him, staring at her as the rest of the table ordered their drinks. He was looking at her hungrily, and you were beginning to feel a tiny bit jealous.
You purposely slid your high heel clad foot over to his leg, running it up and down. This caught his attention and you looked at the waitress. “I’ll just take an iced tea,”
She smiled and wrote it down on the paper. “Alright, I’ll get those, and be back in a second.” Then she turned to walk away, and Thomas’ eyes went straight to her lower back.
You glared at him and yelled, “Georgia!”
She turned, a surprised look on her face. “Yes?”
“Can I actually get a sangria?” You smiled. “I’m going to need it to get through tonight.”
Then she nodded and walked away, this time, Thomas didn’t look.
From across the table, Erin caught your eye, and you gave you a worried look. You returned it with a grin, hoping she wouldn’t catch on.
“So I was thinking that after this we could go check out that new club down the street. My friend’s cousin is a bouncer there, and he says its really good.” Daniel purposed.
Once again, Thomas was first to speak. “I’ll go.”
You furrowed your eyebrows, at him, and he just smirked. This earning another look from Erin. “You coming Y/N” Tom asked.
“I guess I am,” You said quietly. “Seeing as you’re my ride home. But yeah I’ll go!” You said cheerfully to the rest of the table, trying to ignore Thomas’ rudeness.
“Me and Tanner are in too!” Mandy grinned. “It’s sounds fun.”
You admired the way Mandy and Tanner had decided to go together, how they consulted each other first. You wished Thomas would have done the same.
Normally he would have, but something was shaking him up. It was David… You just knew it. Coming out of your house after a month with just you and Thomas, he was nervous. You knew what was on his mind. He thought you were going to cheat again.
You should just tell him he’s wrong, that you would never do it again, and maybe even that David was gay, but now you were just angry. His wandering eyes and shitty attitude had pissed you off. Now you just wanted to do the same. You wanted to piss him off.
“Alright!” Georgia was back. “Here’s your guys’ drinks.” She took the small glass of vodka and soda off her tray, and smiled at Mandy and Tanner. “Excuse my reach.” Then she dramatically leaned over, her boobs nearly falling out of her tight black dress.
Thomas enjoyed the show, he stared at all she had to offer, and small smirk on his face. “Thanks, love.” He even threw in a wink.
If you weren’t mad before, you sure as hell were now.
Thomas’ eyes flickered to you, and he locked his eyes on yours. Georgia gave you your sangria, and you said nothing.
“So what can I grab you guys to eat?” Georgia asked.
You dropped Thomas’ gaze, and picked up your drink. You put it to your lips, and before you knew it, the whole thing was gone. You put it back on the table, a loud clatter sounding.
“Wasn’t that attractive.” Thomas snarled.
“That’s what I go for,” You gave him a super fake smile back. “You know what, I say we skip the dinner, and just go straight to the club. I’m in the mood for a dance.” You looked at Erin after this, and she nodded. You knew she understood.
“I agree!” She piped up. “Wouldn’t it be fun, Mandy?”
Mandy smirked, receiving the eye contact message that the three of you had passed on. “I agree! I wanna dance.”
Daniel laughed. “Well we do what the ladies want. We’ll take the check.”
Minutes later, Georgia was back with the check. So you all stood up and filed out of the booth. You quickly grabbed David’s rose and tucked it in your purse, hoping it wouldn’t wreck.
“I’ve got it.” Thomas smiled, taking the check from Georgia. He looked over and then passed her a couple of bills. “Keep the change.”
She took it from him, and stuffed it into her apron, handing him the copy of the receipt.
From where you were standing, you saw an abnormal amount of writing on it.
Then you stepped closer, and you could make out what it said.
thanks! -georgia
But under this, there was a number scribbled down.
Thomas smirked at her, and put the receipt into his back pocket. Then he watched her daunt away.
Words couldn’t describe the amount of anger you felt towards him. But a shit ton of liquor and some dancing could make it all go away.
You were the first out the door. Erin and Mandy beside you.
“Whats going on with you two?” Mandy asked.
“I have no fucking clue,” You lied, you knew exactly what it was.
You left your cars in the parking lot, and walked to the club. When you arrived at the door, Daniel stepped forward greeting the bouncer. They exchanged multiple words, and then he smiled and nodded you in.
You could feel the bass as you entered the door, you loved the atmosphere. You already forgot about Thomas as he trailed behind you. You, Erin and Mandy went straight to the bar, and leaned against it. It wasn’t long before a bar tender saw, and came walking towards you.
“What can I get you ladies?”
“Sexy monkey!” You yelled to him, a smile on your face.
“Sure thing, babe. How about you two?”
Just as the other girls answered, you felt two hands snake their way around your waist. Thomas rested his lips against your hair and you rolled your eyes.
“Here you are,” The bar tender gave you your drink, avoiding eye contact with you, now that you had a sudden attachment.
“Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?” Thomas whispered in your ear.
You giggled and took a sip of your drink before turning in his arms. “Mhm, your best friend, last night.”
Then you pushed him away from you, and reached for Mandy’s arm, you walked over to Daniel and Tanner. They stood patiently watching you, and you smiled at them.
“Can you get a table, babe?” Erin asked Daniel.
“I’m sure I can find one, going for a dance?”
“You bet,” She smirked.
“I’ll take your bags,” He groaned, with a little laugh.
“Thanks Dan!” She chirped, kissing him on the cheek.
“Have fun,” He said to her, the right side of his mouth quirking up a little.
You passed your bag to Daniel as well and then he turned to find a table.
You immediately trotted over to the dance floor, squeezing in between the clumps of people, Erin and Mandy following you.
You jumped up and down trying your best to move to the beat of the music. Songs and songs passed, and you could feel a thin layer of sweat glowing on your chest. You wondered where Thomas was, if he was watching you.
If he was watching you…
Then, you got an idea, you smirked and moved back a little, pressing into the guy behind you, he didn’t mind either, you bent over and he grabbed your hips.
Now you really hoped Thomas was watching.
You had no clue how long you and the man behind you were in contact for, it couldn’t have been more than 15 seconds, but your arm was yanked, and you were dragged out of the crowd of dancing people.
You smirked as you saw Thomas’ tight jaw. His face livid.
He said nothing, but he kept a tight grip on your arm, he just walked you towards the table, and grabbed your bag. “We’re going home.” He growled.
You didn’t protest, he was mad. This was what you wanted. You wanted him to feel as you had felt. Angry, and jealous.
You were chilled as you walked out of the club, wrapping your arms tightly around yourself.
Thomas held your bag out for you, and you were about to take it, when he pulled it back, digging his hand into the pockets.
You furrowed your brows, when he grabbed out the rose. Then he handed your bag back.
“What’re you doing?” You asked him.
No response. He just threw the rose into a garbage can as you travelled to your car.
You rolled your eyes and scoffed, almost letting out a laugh at his blind spot. He had no clue that David was gay, and you didn’t plan on telling him.
When you got to the car, nothing changed. Silence. Silence all the way home.
You were a little disappointed that he pulled you out of the club for nothing. You’d much rather be dancing with your friends then sitting at home with Thomas, who was currently giving you the silent treatment.
To your surprise, Thomas opened the door for you. You walked through and tried to continue, but to your surprise once more, Thomas grabbed your arm.
He slammed the door, and you turned to face him. “What the fuck was that?”
“What was what?” You played dumb, and he smirked a little.
“You’re not drunk, Y/N. I didn’t stutter, what was that?”
“I’m aware of my sobriety.” You informed him, “But I have no clue what you are talking about.”
You slapped his grip off your arm, and took off the the kitchen, you were about to open the fridge to grab a bottle of water. But Thomas closed the door.
“That dance,” He growled.
“Oh yeah!” You smiled sarcastically, “It was fun!”
He huffed out a breath, and stepped closer to you. “You are honestly such a bitch sometimes.”
“I am not!” You argued.
“I only allowed this night to happen because I thought I could trust you not to whore around with other guys for a couple hours, but I guess I can’t.”
You raised your eyebrows at him. “Are you kidding me? First of all, you did not allow this night to happen, I could have left this apartment any time I wanted to. And second of all, I was not whoring around. You were.”
“Me?” He questioned. “I was whoring around?”
“Yes! You were! That waitress was all over you! You did nothing to stop her!”
“Just as you did nothing to stop that guy that was groping you at the club right? And that one hitting on you before we went into the restaurant.”
“Oh please,” You tried to end the conversation by walking away, but once again, your arm was taken in his hand, and he whipped you around.
“We’re not done here,” He snarled.
You just stared at him. His jaw was clenched, and his lips pressed together in a straight line. Right now, as much as you wanted to deny it, you badly wanted to kiss that angry look off his face.
His feelings must have been much the same, because before you could react, his lips were on yours. You immediately kissed back, grabbing at his hair, he lifted you onto the kitchen counter, and you yanked at his tie.
You were incredibly mad at him, but you wanted him so bad.
You pushed him away. And looked at him. His lips swollen. “Tom, are you mad?”
“I’m fucking pissed,” He replied, connecting your lips.
You pulled away again. “I’m sorry,” The words surprised you even. But if there was anything you didn’t want, it was to have angry sex and to go to sleep mad at eachother.
“What?” He was just as surprised as you were.
“I said I’m sorry.” You repeated. “I didn’t mean to hurt you, I was so lonely when you were gone, and I was so wasted, when I saw that guy, he had the same necklace as you, and I thought he was you, and I just missed you so much, I know it’s no excuse, but I would never intentionally hurt you like that Tom. And tonight, I was just so angry at you, and so jealous, and I think I finally know how you feel. I’ll never do it again. And that guy at the restaraunt was gay.”
You said this, and his face faltered, a light smile appeared on his face and he moved closer to you, wrapping his arms around your frame. You breathed a sigh of relief.
“I’m sorry too, baby.” He mumbled into your neck. “I shouldn’t have held a grudge this long.”
You pulled his head up and knotted your fingers in his hair. “I love you,”
He grinned and leaned his forehead on yours. “I love you too.”
Then he kissed you. And it was a real kiss. His lips molded onto yours perfectly, and passionately.
This was the first time in so long that he had kissed you with this much love. He was the one. You were so sure of it.
He pulled away, and unbuttoned his shirt. You bit your lip and hooked your finger on the chain around his neck, using his necklace to pull him closer. When he connected your lips again, your hands travelled downwards. You groped his butt and he smiled into the kiss, then you reached into his pocket and grabbed the dinner receipt, breaking the kiss to rip it in half.
