Update: she wrote me a love letter [derogatory]
My female friend (whom I also have a teensy tiny crush on) randomly asked me what my favourite colour was………
I’m just gonna say, if she makes one of those “I’d sell my own bones for [sapphire] stones cause [blue] is your favourite colour” edits I may just cry

So far this week I’ve had an hour and 20 minute phone conversation with one of my friends and an almost 40 minute in person conversation with another. The last one made me like an hour late getting home from school today. I mean, sure, they were decent conversations about dumb stuff, as one does. But if this is what having a social life is like, I want no part in it.
This is a disappointment, but yet again this is most queer people’s lives so I’m not that upset but I’m upset
Have you ever wondered whether or not you’d be canonically queer if your life was a story? Look no further. This quiz will tell you your canon queer status.
you know when youre like “im not [agab] im enby!” and youre really proud of yourself for not questioning anymore but then youre like “wait what if im really just a [binary gender opposite to agab]” and youre questioning all over again
I wrote a song! it’s called Dysphoria. it goes like this:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Agender culture is coming out to your Tumblr followers by reblogging a post from @agender-culture-is.
i Totally recommend it really helps.
as someone who's genderfluid, this is a big help!!! It's the pronoun dressing room link, in case anyone needs it :) it's also helpful if you're questioning or just trying to find a good set of pronouns to use! you can either write in your own or choose from a variety of presets :) ALSO NAMES!! you can write in your own name!!! if you already know your pronouns and are trying out names (or both), then THIS CAN HELP!!!! it puts any pronouns into a default story or longer, more interesting stories WITH TRIGGER WARNINGS before you click on one!!! this thing is super duper cool and I'm sure many people have seen it around tumblr already, but it's a great resource that I want to add to my blog :) enjoy!!!
I never was good with decisions.
I'm a genderfluid, pansexual and polyamore.
I never made a decision in my life!
So I found this on the internet
I'm sorry but that defeats the fucking purpose of being non-binary
I’m an author, and in my WIP I have a nonbinary character. They discovered their identity later in life (they’re 31, they came out at 21/22), but they’re talked about in past-tense a few times, and I’m wondering something. Do you (people who don’t identify with their AGAB) use your preferred pronouns even when talking about yourself pre-transition/before you came out? For example: When I talk about myself before I came out, I stick with she/her, because it makes sense to my brain for some reason (And I do the same for this character). But do some people still use their preferred pronouns when talking about their younger selves? I literally have no idea and I don’t have enough trans/nb friends to ask lmao
Yes bro.

I am a little tiered of women breaking gender norms by wearing a suit to a black tie event. I want a non binary or male to break it by showing up in a full blown gown or strapless dress. Spice things up a bit.
I don't like being a girl, i don't hate it but i'd rather be perceived as nothing yk?
A lot of people don't really see me as a girl and I like that
I'd rather have been born a boy but I don't want to change now I guess
I hate my chest and I don't really want it
My mum is okay with me being trans but she doesn't really get it
Someone who uses both she/her and they/them pronouns. I think this is correct if not someone please correct me.
Can somebody explain what she/they means?
just detailed trans + non binary flag which I took from another post and drew on top of it...i hope this ok
When your PE teacher tells the girls to go in one line and the guys to go in another line and my non-binary ass is standing in the middle of the gym away from everyone.
Thanks for the suggestion, @what-a-b3autiful-disaster. I loved the book. Also, if anyone wants to read a book about a AMAB non-binary teen’s story, read this book. I was able to buy it at a Barnes & Nobles.
I’m coming out as non-binary. My pronouns are they/them/theirs. I came out to the club I’m in today and they all accepted me including the teacher. I’m so happy.
Does anyone know of any books where the main character used to identify as male but now identifies as non-binary? Because I’m having some gender identity issues and I want to read about someone I could relate to.
YES! blog is safe for male, female, cis, trans, non-binary and genderfluid people what can i say this blog is safe for ALL HUMAN BEINGS
FUCK THE SUPREME COURT!!!!
There's a lot to discuss about what's going on in the United States, but we all have limited time and capacity, so it's important to focus on some aspects that you feel you can address or help mitigate. It's also important not to judge others on which aspects they choose. Anyway.
I'm an expert in scholarly and science communication, so I was particularly alert to the news that not only future, but also already submitted and even accepted manuscripts by CDC researchers would have to be reviewed and cleaned of certain terms.
"CDC Researchers Ordered to Retract Papers Submitted to All Journals — Banned terms must be scrubbed from CDC-authored manuscripts" https://www.medpagetoday.com/opinion/faustfiles/114043
Unfortunately, the terms in question did not surprise me. They are all related to trans and gender diverse people. There are so many layers to unpack and be outraged about. I want to focus on two and end with a third.
The first is good research practice. Censorship aside, it can be argued that, at the very least, it is not good research practice to replace accurate and medically correct scientific language with language that is very likely to be inaccurate or at least ambiguous, leaving room for misunderstanding. This is highly dangerous and damaging to the global scientific knowledge base. I must therefore question whether these articles can be accepted for publication or published at all.
Without ignoring censorship, the second aspect is that this is the beginning of the end of academic freedom, not just for the CDC, but for the whole country. They're restricting language and science.
The third is just to make it very clear that this is harmful to so many people. They're erasing people.
How can you better the future, if you continue mimicking the past.
Oh, the irony of posting this quote in these times. How can A Pride & Prejudice Remix be so relevant today? I'm deeply concerned for my friends and all the people who are being targeted in the United States at this very moment. Over here, I'm afraid I'm looking at our past and our future at the same time when I see you and what you're facing right now.
More than anything else, this was what he wanted. To be himself, in the open, unabashedly.
That's all we want. How can we be a threat by being ourselves?
And what kind of life could one have with a crushed soul?
I don't know, but it feels like the world is trying really hard to crush our souls at the moment.
[...] you’re a different person when you’re permitted to be yourself. You’re so much more at ease, so much happier. [...] your entire demeanor is more authentic.
Because our souls aren't crushed when we can be who we are.
