Tips for beings who identify as a spotted hyena!!

H3y there!! In thiz post, I will give my fellow spotted hyenas sum tips to let you know the majority of hyena characteristics ^3^

I'm sorry if it's not too much because finding these infoz are rlly hard :[ so please enjoy!!

- Although they're 50%-90% hunters, they sometimes would scavenge for any food. If you're okay with it, try to expand your taste in food and beverage!!

- Laugh in that "nyehehehe" or do a medium howl!! Release your true nature with a vocal :]

- Expand your knowledge!! Doesn't always have to be math, you could be smart in any form of subject/media/facts, or even animalistic smart (mindset, communication, etc).

- Eat crunchy chips/crisps!! These help you feel like having a sharp set of fangs and easily tear things. You could also consume the good 'ol red fresh meat (better be cooked or you'll be COOKED (haha get it cuz youre cooked nyeheh))

- To mimic most of their personality, you could be (range-ly) aggresive and wild, but be respectful.

- If you are okay with having shoulder-length hair, you can make it semi-layered to represent the short mane on your neck!! Hyenas hve one and sometimes they may get poofy in winter/cold spaces :3

- The common mask, quads and all that!! You can do these to express yourself more and you have a self-image of yourself!!

Reminder: These are just general tips for those who want it! You are not a "fake" spotted hyena even if you don't do any of these. What is your identity is up to you. So, if you see yourself as a spotted hyena, then you are one!!

- (BONUS) Body parts: Rounded ears, medium snout, brown and pale; gradient-colored; spotted-patterned fur, powerful jaws, longer front legs, non-retractable claws.

Why are humans so busy? Why do they have to work to justify existing? Why do they have to be productive all the time, and why are they dragging me to follow the same mentality? Why is it morally wrong to do the bare minimum? Why do we have to accumulate wealth just to be happy?

Look at dogs. Zero worries. Literally just eating, sleeping, going on walks, playing. They don't have to do anything. They just have to be. Why can't I do the same? I'm not human, and yet I'm expected to follow the same guidelines, the same life, the same way. All fighting eachother for something that should be a right.

This is not me being lazy, btw. Yes, I like working. I like having a goal to achieve. But that goal is getting money to buy something that should be a right. Food, home, necessities. Why do we have to buy food?

Dogs don't buy food. They don't buy homes. They like eachother, their way of society is different. No wars, no homework, no work. Yes, I'm aware that some animals, cats, dogs, are outside starving. But most of them? Honestly, they just have to survive. They don't have to do anything to get warmth, food, a place to stay. Why can't I do the same?

All my life I've been told that I had to fight to everything I archieve. Because I'm disabled, I'm autistic and have adhd, I'm trans, I'm neurodivergent. I have to try harder, and just keep trying, go on, go on, go on. Why? Why do I have to do that? Why am I expected to try harder than everyone else?

If I was a dog, I wouldn't have to fight. If I was a winged cat, I could hang out in a barn and live of mice. If I was a Watcher, I would have to just Watch. But I'm living a human life. In a brain that is not human, in a soul of an animal, in a body of a creature. But they still think I'm human

anybody just hates the usual human body care needs? hell, even animal ones, like no i dont wanna eat, sleep 8 hours a day, exercise, go on walks, and then also work for minimum of 8 hours and have to find 3 hours for relaxation and also shower and brush my teeth and

Ugshhsgs wdym I have to set my personality as an "acceptable and gentle human being" one rather than a "feral, wild and aggressive but respectful" one when I get back to school. Humans really like 2 see you from ur looks.

But I love my human companies though.. especially my bestfriend who like to pet me on my head or my back since he's so affectionate <3 i also luv to chat and laugh wildly with my close human friendgroup since they wont call me weird for it :]

FINALLY...

My spotted hyena mask is finished!! A little reminder that my camera's color looks a bit more saturated than the real one, but Im so proud of it!! I resonated with this mask immediately. <3

I recently got a cute carebear keychain from my older sis!! And I got FUNSHINE!!1!1!1! my fav carebear <333 since funshine is a sun (star) it makes me happy as a starkin ^w^ I also get to buy stuffs for my kintypes!!

Little rant (maybe)

I noticed that i felt shifts way more often this month. No matter what place or situation i'm in, I can feel my tail, occasionally my round ears, and my snout. My animalistic urges like eating straight from my mouth also likes to kick in. I do so by putting the food on my "paw" and gently eating it while tilting my head mimicking an animal. Utensils dont really do me a favor while feasting.

I enjoy being under the sunlight because i depict it as a "photosyntesis" kind of stuff.

I remember when I was swimming yesterday, the feeling of receiving some sort of energy from sunlight gives me a lot of euphoria especially when im just standing. But when i am actually swimming inside the pool, I feel my hyena body parts. Im pretty much free being in the water because even though i swim like a baby being thrown inside, nobody commented about it.

Maybe i have shifts as a hyena AND a tree. For the space kin?? Not yet.. or.. I do feel like emiting an energy from me but idk if that even counts

Also it has been a year since i have awakened as a hyena therian!! Yipee!!! (I dont remember when but i remembered it was last year lol)
