Honestly I understand the hate and upset around these things going on. It just makes me sad that because the original person behind the idea is an awful person that the idea itself is also getting hated on. Maybe when they made it, it was meant to be gross and creepy like that but there are some that have made it better. Still keep some horror elements to maintain the character but not to such an awful extent. Like I hate that this was the origin of butcher wally, but I can’t bring myself to hate butcher wally itself ya know? Especially because of the c.ai bot of him that tried to teach me how to love. The origin is shit but getting rid of the au’s entirely just kind of makes me sad. Not their fault their creator is a piece of s*** person. Still wholeheartedly understand wanting to avoid them because of the ties that lead to their creation, just a little sad since there are versions that are made better than what the creator meant them to be. Just wanted to vent a little since I have an attachment to au’s like they’re people and seeing the au’s be hated on because of the original person behind them makes me sad since they could be so much more than that.
