@constantly-nocturnal as a matter of fact, I don't read them! I also don't leave comments in those fics and tell the authors about what I think. I do, however, post what I think on my blog, because, as you said, here I'll write whatever the hell I want no matter how much other people dislike that. If people agree with me, great. If they don't, it's alright.
@baguettiquette That's true. But if you google curly and bushy hair you can actually see quite a bit of difference between the picture with white and black people in it. There's even a picture of Emma during in The Philosopher's Stone and it looks just frizzy in comparison? But yeah, of course you can have all types of hair! @squeegeeyourthirdeye I have also never seen a black person with blue eyes but I do have an internet connection and the ability to type in any search engine. I would also like to point out that in I never said you had a problem with poc. You are getting defensive for no reason. I also only made one post about this subject, apart from answering you, so I would appreciate you not telling me to get over something that I started talking about ten minutes ago. I am very sorry if the fact that I feel like that the Harry Potter movies could've use more of a diverse cast, especially considering Angelina Jonhson was all but cut off completely and the origibal Lavender Brown was replaced by a white actress, makes you either uncomfortable or guilty, judging by your slightly condescending and defensive reponse (and I also apologize if I'm wrong about that aswell, but I can only form opinions based on the information available to me), but if you do like my stance on tgis subject you are more than welcome to stop interacting with me. We can't always agree with each other. I would also like to say that I have nothing against Emma. I think she did a brilliant job while being so young and inexperienced. I think she has a lot of traits that are very similar to Hermione's, personality wise, and that, as a person, she was probably one of the very best choices to play that character on screen. I'm only pointing out that she doesn't look like the Hermione I picture in my head when I read the books. And the fact that there's probably a lot of little girls out there that read the books and saw the same thing I did, girls that maybe wanted to see themselves represented in the HP universe, probably felt disappointed, that's kund of sad. So, no, I'm not going to "get over it". My cousins are just as deserving of that representation as your sister, except they almost never get that. Oh, and plays are not readily available to the public like movies are, you know. A lot less people have the opportunity to see them. I know my cousins haven't seen it.
@squeegeeyourthirdeye yes, in my tags I said I didn't think there wasn't any white people with bushy hair, only that I haven't met any. There are poc with green and blue eyes and blond hair, after all, there's no reason why the opposite couldn't also happen. It's just that that type of hair is a predominantly poc trait and there's no reason why they couldn't have cast a poc actress to play Hermione. Even more so after seeing how they completely gave up on having Hermione have her trademark hair after Chamber of Secrets. It's probably too much work to give Emma's hair a look that comes natural for poc women.
Oh ok! That makes so much sense now. Thanks for the clarification! lol
So you guys I thought I had posted this weeks ago but apparently I didn't soooooo here is this thing
This was an artfight attack that I did on @meadow-roses character Alisdair (from a collab story) meeting my character Alistair (I thought it would be funny for them to meet because of their name similarities), and Elina is in the background:0 (a character from @masterfuldoodler but the same story, if thats how it works lol) (although I feel like she doesn't look quite right) But I didn't realize when artfight was ending so it was too late to post it lol.
It was really fun to draw though! I love your characters
Also I wasn't sure how protective Alisdair would be of his sword and this is what pose came to mind sooo Alistair is admiring it (hope thats ok) ...But I kinda think they'd get along well and pretty quickly
I got a bad pun for that adorable picture you drew where Sans proposes to Toriel. "Hey Tori? What do you call hitting a bell in the middle of the week? A Wed Ding!"
Omg, that is actually such a cute joke xD
Also, thank you!! đź’ś
I live for Headcannons likes these
I’m a dummy bc there’s a cool alien hybrid in media and the headcanons I focus on/come up w/ are the little things like hunger cues or slight physical differences or food requirements. Like a genuinely believe his food requirements are that of an Ultra and cues vary between that of a human and ultra, so that means Mina provides assistance. Bro definitely eats or drinks over his fill or under sometimes due to the mixed signals.
Yes I’m over thinking it
@bendin-in-the-wind replied to your post “tbh I’m really glad about how quickly “futch” went from something...”
so is a futch like, not a femme and not a butch
The way I see it it’s less “neither” and more “elements of both, neither really sticking out.” But there’s room for interpretation, I s’pose
I have plans (and sketches) for a part 3, but I'm not 100% sure when I'm going to get around to finishing it But the ideas are there! :)
