Israel’s military dropped 75,000 tonnes of explosives by April 2024. Since the invasion of Rafah in May, Palestinians have said the bombings have gotten considerably worse, most recently the strike against Al Tabin school where over 100 were killed during morning prayers

Throughout the first five months of the war, both my big sister and my sister in law had been pregnant. They had to endure constant displacement and unspeakable horrors on top of pregnancy discomforts. The few times I was able to reach my sister, she would keep praying not to go into labor before that nightmarish reality ended.
Sadly, things did not go her way. The war was raging when she gave birth to beautiful baby Ossama, and it still is ongoing. Almost at the same time my brother and his wife had sweet baby twin girls, Ritaj and Rital. The three little angels are rocked to sleep by the sound of bombs and buzzing drones instead of lullabies. Due to the unsanitary conditions in their tent and formula scarcity, the newborns have been constantly suffering from acute respiratory infections as well as slow weight gain. The only medical care they were getting was that of an overcrowded field hospital with limited resources, and even that is now denied to them as my family has been forcibly evacuated again from Rafah to Khan Yunis where nothing is left but rubble.
As you may well know, many babies in Gaza are lost while waiting for consideration. The doctors previously insisted that the little ones would fail to thrive and fully recover if they stayed in the same unhealthy environment.
Despite everything, these babies are a source of hope and strength for us. Please don't let them fade away. My family is barely holding on for their sake and that of their older brothers and sisters.

It has been six months since Israel launched its brutal offensive on Palestine’s Gaza, killing more than 33,000 Palestinians — mostly women and children — and driving nearly 2 million more from their homes, in what humanitarian agencies have called a “betrayal of humanity.”
As Israeli troops withdraw from Khan Younis to prepare for a military offensive on Rafah, the last remaining safe haven for those who were forced out from their homes, the people of Gaza brace for a projected famine that could see as many as 70% of Gaza's population facing catastrophic conditions in the next 4 months.

What sort of world do we live in when we’re told to be grateful that the IOF has ‘only’ murdered 30,000+ civilians, ‘only’ injured over 80,000, ‘only’ starved 2.3 million people, ‘only’ destroyed 70%+ of infrastructure, ‘only’ destroyed the lives and dreams of 2.4 million Palestinians. A world where traumatising over a million children is justified.
A world where those that claim to value ‘human rights’ will tell this father, and thousands of other Palestinian parents, that the lives of their children is a price that needs to be paid for ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’. Israel’s genocidal assault has killed or injured over 2 percent of Palestinian children in Gaza over the course of just six months, Save the Children has reported. In the months since October 7, Israel’s assault has killed over 13,800 children in Gaza and injured over 12,000 children, according to counts by UN officials and the Gaza Ministry of Health cited by Save the Children. This means that Israel has killed or injured at least 25,800 children in Gaza, or over 1 in every 50 children living in the region before the assault.
Previous reports have found that Israel is killing and injuring children at a rate that is unprecedented compared to any modern conflict. On average, Israel has killed about 75 children in Gaza each day over the course of the last six months, while many of the children who have survived have sustained lifelong injuries; an average of over 10 children are having one or both legs amputated every day in Gaza. Doctors in the region say that Israeli snipers have also been targeting children.
Israel has killed 14,350 Palestinian children between October 7 and April 4. This means children account for 44% of all Palestinians killed in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said in a press release ahead of Palestinian Children’s Day. Women and children constitute nearly 70% of over 7,000 additional persons missing in the same period, and the majority of the over 75,000 wounded Palestinians are women and children. Out of a total of 455 Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank by the Israeli forces in the same period, 117 were children. Over 17,000 Palestinian children have also been orphaned or separated from their parents as a result of Israel’s genocidal attacks, according to UNICEF data, after either both or one of their parents were killed in the Israeli bombings and ground offensives since October 7.

A little girl undergoing CANCER treatment was arrested... no matter how many times I re-read this statement, it gets even more vile. This is beyond heinous.
She waited for them for eleven years and lost them along with her husband in a moment, with feelings mixed with patience and oppression, after the occupation bombed a house east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
This is Rami Hamdan Al-Halhouli. Today, he was shot and killed by an IDF sniper. HE WAS 12 YEARS OLD.
