A drawing of a knight leaning over a sword amongst a field of swords stabbed into the ground, implied to be from companions who have fallen in battle. The scene is colored in grey scale, with the exception of specifically chosen red spots- which include the knights cloak, a piece of red cloth tied around their sword drifting in the wind, and splatters of blood on the ground.

The knight is wearing various pieces of armor and vaguely medieval clothes, and their hair is long and worn in a braid. Their sword is cracking in various places.

First illustration project of the semester!!!!! <3 <3

The project was a bit of a free for all, but we had a list of prompts we could work with if we were struggling with ideas. I chose "A knight who has lost everything."

Art From This Semester! I Got To Do A Really Fun Project With My Printmaking Professor: I Made A Digital

Art from this semester! I got to do a really fun project with my printmaking professor: I made a digital design (very right), had it laser cut/printed onto some plywood (center), and got to print it out onto paper (very left)!

The big mushroom in the center is based on a Fly Agaric mushroom (think the traditional mushroom with a red cap and white spots).

“And There Sat the Black Cat” 8x10, prisma color pencils and illustration board.

For my studio course this semester I had to make two series of three drawings. For my second series, I chose to draw humanized characters from Edgar Allen Poe works.

This is the last piece, an attempt at depicting Pluto, the black cat from The Black Cat!
