you met when she first arrived in jackson. you saw her with joel and knew she was going to be interesting

she was pretty intimidated by you at first, taller and more evident muscle on you. you had quick witted comebacks and the prettiest of smiles (and you know your way around a gun)

when you start dating, ellie physically pushes you away if you show affection in public. worried that someone will undermine her with a girlfriend that was taller than her

she loves that you can reach things she can’t and will 100% take full advantage of that
