Um??? Currently in chapter 4? I think? Of TDBK.
I just got done with a scene that feels way too insignificant? Like they just glossed over this, it feels REALLY IMPORTANT.
The anomaly said to choose a date. I chose the Vagastrom excursion. I'm not sure if the same happens no matter what you choose, but I can't stop thinking about what happens after bets are placed.
Ritsu said THE DAY THE CONSTITUTION OF JAPAN TOOK EFFECT. And MC said the day she and Vagastrom went on a mission.
Chips were handed out according to the value of the day. And who got more chips? Take a wild guess, who got more chips?
Mc. MC got more chips. Meaning the mission with Vagastrom was apparently more. Significant. Than the Constitution of Japan.
Oh- and don't get me wrong, I'm still infinitely pissed about the fact that neither MC nor Ritsu- THE PARALEGAL- thought to ask what happens with the given dates, but yk. NEITHER HERE NOR THERE, FOLKS.
I mean, as soon as Kaito said "date" I had a theory. I thought maybe they were wagering future dates, and that would be the day they die. But the dates were in the past. And Kaito's date was about 2 weeks before Vagastrom, if memory serves me correctly, and he didn't seem to remember exchanging numbers with MC.
Does the anomaly erase the date from memory, then? That still doesn't explain Kaito's number being erased. Or why Rapunzel is involved.
Does it make it so that the date never happened? No, because then MC wouldn't remember that she ever had Kaito's number in the first place.
What about making it so the person who wagered has no recollection of or effect on the date? Well, I doubt Shinjo was there when the Constitution was signed.
Tldr; I am very confused. ???? What the hell does that anomaly do with the dates
