Police investigative death of Grand Valley State University student on campus

"This is heartbreaking news for our entire community," GVSU President Philomena V. Mantella wrote.

We received an email from President of GVSU, Philomenia Mantella that evening.  They are saying that the death was suspicious.  We are all so heartbroken for this student, their family, their friends and for the person who found the body, as that itself must have also been horrific.  Please pray for this family and friends for strength to get through each day and for closure for them.  Please pray for the entire GVSU family as we are all grieving for them as well, as it could have been our child and we are all Lakers Together in heart.  Let God hold them in his loving arms as the family and friends grasp what no parent should ever have to deal with.   🖤💙💔💙🖤⚓️
