dude i think u may be the first person (i remember) ive seen not want movie/tv series for tfota and im so glad im not alone!! like it has a lot of potential but there are just a gazillion ways i can see it going wrong 😬 if we did get one i kinda want it to be animated b/c the otherworldly nature of the fae and all the magic would be easier to capture that way but that probably won't happen :/ ur casting is mega valid tho

first of all, i'm ecstatic someone else thinks this 🙌 the way a film/series would shatter my image of the world and characters.

plus, i'm just so tired of book adaptations becoming the next mainstream media craze only to get bashed a few months later for being "cringe" or whatever the fuck. not to mention, i've lost so much trust for screenwriters in recent times. i would rather just look at pretty fanart and read the books over and over, and exist in my little fandom bubble with y'all.

anyways, i know we're not the only ones cos i've deffo had conversations with some other lovely people on here about it.

HOWEVER. i've never thought ab an animated adaptation, and i have to say i would not mind a studio ghibli-esque version of this series at all 👀👀
