Ok After Watching The Little Mermaid (Classic Ver.) I remember Ursula Disguises herself as Vanessa to trick Eric that she saved him from drowning and who sang for him when he woke up after being unconscious
Then Poses to Marry Eric to Prevent Ariel from succeeding the Spell to be Human
Now here's an Idea:
Yandere Azul Ashengrotto x Fem. MC x Prince Rielle (The Little Mermaid/Merman AU)
Prince Rielle Longed to join the Surface World and Bond with the Humans Above the Ocean of Twisted Wonderland
That is until he get's Offered to Attend RSA as a Student along with his Friends (Twst ver. Of the Disney Princess) although His Father (King Triton) doesn't fully agree to this and in Frustration Rielle swims off to the Surface there He Meets MC on a Small Cruise Ship with her Fellow NRC friends having a Spring Break Party (Kinda Like how Eric was Celebrating his Birthday but this is the First Day of Spring and perfect for a Cruise Party)
With the Young Prince now curious of the Female Student he wanted to learn more about her (or as you can say it was Love at First Sight) and what would it be like to be Part of Her World.
Unfortunately Someone on the Other Hand has taken interest in the Female Prefect . . . Azul Ashengrotto . . . he sought to make MC his Promised but Notices Rielle Snooping in that case gave Azul the very key for his plan to achieve
During the Party a Great Storm Emerged and Ruined the Celebration, MC nearly put her Life on the Line to save her Friends that is Until She had to Go back and save her Furry Grey Companion, Grim from being Trapped in the Flames. After Successfully saving Grim, The Boat's Supply of Fireworks was set off with MC still on the Ship exploded leaving the Survivng Students on the Life Boats in Shocked
Rielle feeling the need to do something he had to save her from Drowning
As the Dawn rose yet the sky filled with soft grey clouds, Rielle brought MC back to shore not leaving her side worried that she might not wake up, but faintly he could hear her Breathing and a Sigh of relief escaped from Rielle mouth as he then was enchated by MC's Beauty as she lays Unconscious and he then Sings his new Dream to be Part of Her World
The Group then Later finds MC on Shore, relieved as they can be the First Years Tackled MC in a Tight hug Happy that she was Ok. MC then starts to Say how there was a Boy who Saved her and how He Sang so Beautifully. The Bois thought she was Imagining things or being Delusional or she probably Drank too much Sea Water (Lol)
Except for Azul who knew exactly What MC was Referring to . . . which gave him an Idea for a Boy who always had an eye for a Bargain
To Make this Short, Azul then had Rielle visit the Monstro Lounge to make a Deal with him. Helping Him to Turn into a Human to both to Attend RSA and Meet the Female Prefect only for 3 Days but Can Succeed if He Kisses her through True Love. If she Doesn't Kiss her then He Turns Back to a Merman and be trapped in the Monstro Lounge as a Fish in a Tank Serving the Entertainment as a Decoration (& Azul will have MC all to Himself). Payment would be for Rielle to Give up his Voice and rely on other ideas to communicate with MC and his Friends in RSA
As Rielle enjoys his Time at RSA making New Friends and Meeting MC and visiting The Village to Bond more they both Almost Kissed (Kiss the Girl Scene) but Unfortunately failed after being knocked over from the Leech Twins who followed them to prevent Rielle from Succeeding. Leaving Azul to take matters into his own hands and using Rielle's Voice and a Disguises himself (Like Vanessa but a Male ver. Brown Hair, Purple Amethyst Eyes, and his Seashell Necklace that holds Rielle's voice).
His Name would be Victor đ
MC Standing outside of Ramshackle late at Night hoping that she wasn't mistaken that a Boy really did save her, considered the Lighter Side of the Whole Experience and Considers her feelings for Rielle and decides to Sleep on it and meet with him in the Morning.
But then Hears a Voice Singing exactly the same as the One who saved her from Drowning she then looks around and sees a Figure standing close to the Lake near Ramshackle. His Hair Softly Flows in the Night Breeze as he slowly Looks back at MC making Eye Contact with his Piercing Amethyst Eyes as he Sings and a Golden Hue Glows Brightly in the Night entrancing MC in a Spell
Soooo There's that & I Hope someone Writes a Story about this Idea & I give full permission to use this Idea as long you Credit me
Thanks For Reading and I hope you Enjoyed!!đđ
I drew Ariel for my mum. đ§ââď¸ Ariel is her favourite Disney Princess and has been since she saw The Little Mermaid at the cinema as a teenager. She told me she also had the soundtrack on cassette and a The Little Mermaid poster framed in her room which I find very sweet. It makes me very happy that she adored an animated film so much as a teen because I've always been that way. I also listen to the soundtracks of my favourite animated movies and am tryna get wall art too. xD
Ratigan - The Great Mouse Detective (1986) Ursula - The Little Mermaid (1989) Hades - Hercules (1997)
i love prince eric. Â from the little mermaid. Â heâs hilarious. Â because he seems like one of the most mild-mannered and unassuming princes in the disney canon, but he is also one of the few to actively kill the bad guy. Â most disney villains die by consequence of the final battle but are not directly killed by the hero/heroine. Â most of them fall to their deaths or cause their own demise, and sometimes the hero is indirectly responsible because theyâll launch them into that direction or something, but they still donât bring knife to heart directly. Â
but then a couple do. Â and prince eric is my fave out of those few because up until the final act, he is the most chill motherfucker u ever seen. Â like he is quick to spring to action during the storm scene n stuff, but otherwise? Â heâs really quiet n sensitive and runs along the beach playing the flute for his big shaggy dog n he smiles like a lil nerd and gets all cute around ariel and heâs so sweet n everything.
AND THEN IN THE FINAL BATTLE THAT MOTHERFUCKER STRAIGHT UP DRIVES A SHIP THROUGH URSULA LIKE WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!! Â NO WONDER NO ONE IS TRYIN TO LAY SIEGE TO HIS KINGDOM!! Â ALL THE NEIGHBOURS ARE LIKEÂ âHOLY SHIT DONâT GO THERE! PRINCE ERIC IS A BEAST! Â HEâLL STRAIGHT UP DRIVE A BOAT THROUGH YOUR BITCH!â
i love him
Samuel E. Wright On His Role As Sebastian In âThe Little Mermaidâ
My most favorite moment was when, after years of filming it, and being very strict to animation, because you have to be strict with animation, because itâs timing, and picture, and that kind of thing⌠And I was very strict with it. But I kept doing things, Iâd be naughty, and Iâd do something⌠And theyâd say, âSam, you canât do that! This is not Robin Williams. You cannot do that, you canât make up little jokes on the side.â But a year after we finished completing the film, they called me up, and they said, âSam, weâre going to fly you out here. All of the things we said you couldnât do⌠Youâve got three hours to do all of them.â So they brought me in the studio, and they just turned the mike on⌠and I went nuts! I just said anything I wanted to say like Sebastian. I talked like him for three hours, and some of it found itâs way into the movie. For example: âTeenagers. They think they know everything. You give them an inch, they swim all over you.â That was something that I just made up!
Beautiful!
Now that we have an official look at Ariel, itâs fun for me to see where I got close and missed the mark in terms of predicting what she would look like! Turns out I wasnât that close LOL.Â
But Halle, as we all predicted, looks and SOUNDS out of this world. Iâm gonna have to mentally prepare all the way till 2023 to not ugly cry through the whole movie. ;____; <3

I feel like the problem with a lot of Disney's live action remakes (and arguably Wish) is they're trying to appeal to a crowd that no longer exists, namely the people who used to claim that the Disney Princesses were sexist.
All the interviews tend to include, "Well she's not chasing a MAN anymore" which...almost no one sees the princesses like that, anymore. Virtually NO ONE still believes the princesses are man-chasing sexist caricatures of women.
Cinderella is now hailed as an abuse victim who stayed strong long enough to get help to get out of her situation. Anyone who says she should have saved herself is basically regarded as a victim blamer. And it's very clear in the film she wasn't looking to marry the prince, she just wanted a night off. She was the only one who wasn't in line to meet him. She didn't find out she met the prince until he went looking for her!
Snow White is now hailed for her negotiation skills, ability to calm down after extreme stress (she had a moment of panic and had to cry for a bit, but who wouldn't after finding out The Queen hired someone to kill you?), and ability to take charge of a house of adult men. And again, she was an abuse victim, this time trying to escape ASSASSINATION ATTEMPTS. While she dreamed of her prince, it was secondary to her main goal of SURVIVAL. There are also entire video essays about how Snow White gave hope to people during The Great Depression.
Everyone acknowledges that Ariel wanted to be human BEFORE meeting Eric. We all know she was a nerd hyperfixating on humans, and also standing up to her prejudiced father.
We understand Sleeping Beauty wasn't the main character, the Three Good Fairies were, AND PHILLIP WOULD NEVER HAVE BEATEN MALEFICENT WITHOUT THEM! He literally depended on them! WOMEN SAVED THE DAY! But even then, is it really such a sin for a girl to fantasize about romance and fall for someone with corny pickup lines?
We all understand Jasmine just wanted someone to treat her LIKE A PERSON. She rejected every Prince before Aladdin because they treated her like a prize. So why did they need her to want to be Sultan? How did that make her more feminist when she already wanted to be treated like an equal and have a say in her future? Is it only empowering if you want a career in politics?
We admire that Belle, despite living in a judgemental village, was kind to everyone (even though she found the village life dull), and her story teaches girls that the guy everyone else loves isn't always a good guy. What's sexist about teaching girls about red flags? And she didn't start being nice to The Beast until he started treating her with respect and kindness.
Do I really NEED to defend Mulan or Tiana? I think they speak for themselves.
Rapunzel was yet another abuse victim who just needed a little help to get out of her bad situation. In this case, she also needed to learn that she was an abuse victim, and that what Mother Gothel did WASN'T normal, much like many victims of gaslighting.
And don't get me started on the non-princess animals.
Perdita had a healthy relationship with Pongo to the point she was open to express her pregnancy fears to him, and was ready to TEAR APART Cruella's goons for daring to touch her puppies as well as adopting the other puppies. Like, she was so ferocious the goons mistook her for a hyena! She's basically that "I AM THAT GIRL'S MOTHER!" scene from SpyXFamily if Yor were a dog. She and her husband were a TEAM.....but they made a Cruella live action to turn her into a girlboss?! The literal animal abuser!? THAT'S the woman you wanted to put on a pedestal when Perdita was RIGHT THERE!?
Duchess kept her kittens calm after they had been catnapped and was classy as heck. Nice to everyone regardless of social class during a time period where that was uncommon.
Lady stood up to Tramp when she believed he had abandoned her and didn't really care about her. She found out he was a heartbreaker and was like, "Nuh uh. No. You are not doing that to me! You put me through enough."
Miss Bianca from The Rescuers was IN CHARGE the whole movie, and was willing to risk life and limb to save an innocent child. THAT TINY MOUSE TOOK ON ALLIGATORS! And she picked Bernard to accompany her because he was the only one who wasn't ogling her. And then in the sequel SHE DID IT ALL AGAIN! I wish I were as brave as her.
Like, the public haven't accused these ladies of being sexist caricatures since 2014 (Actresses and actors don't count, they're out of touch like the rest of Hollywood) yet Disney is operating under the assumption that the public still thinks that way, hence all the "sHe'S nOt AfTeR a MaN iN ThIs VeRsIOn" talk.
The live action remakes are trying to attract an audience that doesn't really exist much, anymore, and back when it did exist, was comprised mainly of people who didn't actually watch the films. The Disney princesses are no longer seen as sexist, and feminine qualities are no longer seen as weak or undesirable.

now is the little mermaidâs turn. trying to simplify everything as possible and not putting any tattoos or any Filipino ethnic charms just to show sheâs a Filipino mermaid. Their culture is unknown.and yes, she still has her mermaid hair when she transformed into human.Â
Omg Merthur but itâs kinda like little mermaid plot line.
Merlin saves a man he found in the woods but he used magic so once the man starts to wake Merlin runs.
Instead of him singing itâs like old English and Arthur we already know would send all the knights to find this man.
Once Merlin shows up to like work for Giaus Arthur is drawn to him and keeps making up injuries to see him. Merlin ofc wonât say anything about his magic.
Some rando Druid dude comes and claims heâs the man Arthur heard. He actually wants to kill Arthur. Merlin then reveals himself to save his man.
They get married and live happily ever after.
This all came about because I believe with about a doubt ďżźthat Arthur would belt wild uncharted waters like no tomorrow.
Listen to me. The human world is a mess.- Sebastian the Crab
not to be that one person but casting a colored actor in the role of a white character previously played by a white person isn't progressive. it's a deliberate cash grab. remakes, unnecessary sequels, and new spinoffs for characters are prone to flop. To make as much money as possible, they cast colored people in the shoes of white people. The result is widespread applause and rage on social media, which does the marketing. People who initiate boycotts inadvertently cause others to watch the show out of curiosity, and people who hail the 'progressive politics' of the show on social media influence others with similar values to watch the show.
i hope i drew them w/ justice ><Â
Just randomly felt like drawing Ariel. First time ever using alcohol-based markers and it was kindave a disaster...
Genuinely curious so rb with your fav Ghibli movie, Disney Princessâ˘ď¸ movie, non Princess Disney movie, and none Disney animated film đđ
I will say, one good thing about the live action remakes is that they are forcing us to realize what is at the heart and soul of the original stories.
Why does the live action Snow White feel so heartless? Because that isn't Snow White.
Well, we already knew the girl was kind, but wasn't until the remake was announced did we go back and see HOW kind Snow White was. The girl noticed how messy the drawfs' house was, believed they had mother, and decided to clean the house for the little "children" out of kindness (and hoping they let her stay).
Snow White went out of her way to help these little "children"...when she was still a child herself! ONLY 13 or 14 years old!!! So kind and yet so small!
Think about all the others now.
Ever kind and strong Cinderella. The determined and unwavering Bella. The Wonder-Seeking Ariel. The causally-stealing-the-show Good Faires. And on and on and on.
Hopefully, after experiencing the heartless live action remakes, the next generation of storytellers will take us back to when books and movies had, should I say, Soul.
