Toby’s Worst Moment: Season Two, Episode Twenty-One: Conflict Resolution
The truth about the “Special Filing Cabinet” in New York. Dwight, and the Dwight v Jim feud may be annoying to deal with, but he wasn’t actually dealing with it and it was terrible as the HR rep and disrespectful to Dwight to not report the issues Dwight was having. Even though it wasn’t legal harassment, Toby still could and should have gotten in trouble for not taking the issue seriously.
Toby’s Best Line: Season Two, Episode Twenty-Two: Casino Night
“Actually I didn’t think it was appropriate to invite children since it’s, uh, you know, there’s gambling and alcohol and it’s in our dangerous warehouse, and, it’s a school night, and you know, hooters is catering, …..is that, is that enough, should I keep going?”
Toby’s Most Memorable Moment: Season Four, Episode Fourteen: Goodbye Toby
Pam gifts Toby a picture of everyone in the office as his going away gift, but because she took the picture. But, if the other parent wants to play a game, it’s not because they’re crazy, it’s because they’re doing it for the kids. And I get that now.”

“This is supposed to be our wedding day, why did we invite all these people?”
9. Season Seven, Episode Two: Counseling (Pam)

“I love you”
“Wait, wait, wait. What do you mean you love me? We’ve only been dating for a week. Do you mean you love me like, “oh there’s Holly, I love that girl”, or do you mean you love me like you love me, love me?”

When he doesn’t accept Robert California’s bullshit explanation of why it’s okay he called people losers.
“But, you don’t know these people but I do and if I let you work with fault information than I’m not doing my job as regional manager”
Stanley, you may think he is a lazy grump but did you know he has the most consistently high sales numbers of anyone in this office
Meredith Palmer, supplier relations, the word no, not even in her vocabulary
Pam, easily the most creative and kind person I have ever worked with
Erin, the receptionist and my closest confidant, a winner if there ever was one
Andy’s Worst Moment: Season Nine, Episode Sixteen: Moving On
When he hires Alice and Gabe, Pete’s and Erin’s exs, to “prove a point” about how working with an ex while they are in a new relationship at the office isn’t something you just “move on from”. Yes it’s rough but Erin and Pete weren’t obnoxious about their relationship, but also, Gabe could probably guess on some level why he was getting hired and at least knew Erin would be there. We have no idea what Alice left or why, it was really messed up and selfish.
Andy’s Best Line: Season Four, Episode Three: Launch Party
When he gets his acapella group to help him sing a song in asking Angela out
“If you change your mind, I’ll be first in line.
Honey I‘m still free, take a chance on me.
If you need me, let me know, gonna be around.
If you got no place to go, if you’re feeling down.
If you’re all alone, when the pretty birds have flown.
Honey I’m still free, take a chance on me.
Gonna do my very best, and that ain’t no lie.
If you put me to the test, if you let me try.
Take a chance on me”
Most Memorable: Season Six, Episode Thirteen: Secret Santa
When he got Erin the 12 days of Christmas, even though he could have done the first days with just the birds differently, pushing to the 12 drummers drumming was perfect.
1. Season Five, Episode Two: Weightloss
When Jim proposes to Pam, it’s a lot of peoples favorites but what is truly perfect about it is how he acknowledges to Pam that they planned on waiting on getting engaged, but “I just—I couldn’t wait”
2. Season Nine, Episode Twenty: Paper Airplane
First, Angela after hearing from Ester how they pity her tells Dwight “don’t you dare tank this”; and then he doesn’t after seeing how she is looking at him. It shows the respect they have for each other.

When after hearing about Brian and Alyssa breaking up, and how they are walking on egg shells with each other, Pam tells Jim she doesn’t want to just ignore their problems and she wants to fight.
“Do you really want to fight on Valentine’s Day?”
“Yeah I do”
9. Season Three, Episode Ten: A Benihana Christmas
Jim and Karen both getting each other Bridget Jones Diary for Christmas, because it was a terrible movie that they saw on one of their dates.
10. Season Five, Episode Six: Employee Transfer and Season Nine, Episode Five: Here Comes Treble
The fact that Andy dresses up as a kitten (not a cat) and Erin dresses up as a puppy (not a dog)
Michael’s Best Moment: Season Seven, Episode Four: Sex Ed
Earlier when Michael calls to tell Holly that he has herpes (he doesn’t) she tells him how he made them out to be more than they were. After he sees a lot of his ex’s and he tries to talk to her again explains how she’s wrong because 1) he remembers every second of them, 2) his feelings for her were more than the others, 3) they joked together, 4) she was the only one happy to hear from him and how he didn’t make them up.
Michael’s Worst Moment: Season Two, Episode Ten: Christmas Party
Michael’s temper tantrum following getting Phyllis’ oven mitt when he bought Ryan an iPod and ends up ruining, or at least seriously dampening, the Christmas Party 1st, by changing Secret Santa into Yankee Swap, 2nd how he sarcastically compliments Phyllis’ oven mitt (especially in mentioning how you can tell how much she worked on it) then following it up with (3rd) calling a Meredith a sucker for taking it, and 4th, asking Dwight how the paintball gun and party is “better than an iPod”, 5th, blames Phyllis and then 6th getting pissed off at everyone for being upset with him with the final moment being when (7th) he tells everyone he got a bonus because he fired Devon.
+++
Michael’s Best Line: Season Five, Episode Twenty-Five: Broke
As head of The Michael Scott Paper Company and in the meeting with David Wallace, in response to David low-balling the buy-out offers Michael replies:
“I’ll see your situation and I’ll raise you a situation. Your Company is losing clients left and right, you have a stock holder meeting coming up and you are going to have to explain to them why your most profitable branch, is bleeding. So they may be looking for a little change in CFO, so I don’t think I have to wait out Dunder Mifflin, I think I just have to wait out you” to David Wallace (Season Five, Episode Twenty-Five: Broke)
+++
Michael’s Most Memorable: Season Five, Episode Twelve: The Duel
A moment that truly describes Michael is his “improve conversation” line to David.
“David here it is, my philosophy, is basically this. And this is something that I live by, and I always have, and I always will. Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything, to anyone, for any reason, ever; no matter what, no matter where, or who, or who you are with or, or where you are going or, or, where you’ve been. Ever, for any reason whatsoever--”
There are many “That’s what she said”s throughout The Office (US)--but in my opinion, these are the best.
1. Season Four, Episode Seven: Survivor Man
Michael comes back to the office and Jim tells him the day was rough as he tried to put all the birthday’s together. Michael tells him it’s fine, rookie mistake and that he’ll figure it out. When Jim notes he doesn’t plan on being there in ten years and Michael adds “That’s what she said” after first saying “That’s what I said”
When Jim follows up with “that’s what who said” Michael tells Jim “I never know” and he just says stuff like that sometimes to lighten the tension (as he just did with Jim).
2. Season Three, Episode Seventeen: Cocktails
When Jan internally realizes she’s becoming more like Michael as when speaking with the documentary crew about her insecurities with dating Michael and responds to the question “why is this so hard” with “that’s what she said”
3. Season Three, Episode One: Gay Witch Hunt
After outing and kissing Oscar, Michael remarks that even if he didn’t create social change ‘at least they put this matter to bed’ and then responds with his typical hokes of “That’s what she said…or he said”
Ryan Howard
Ryan’s Best Moment: When he ‘empties’ out his desk during Cleaning Day but nothing is there (Season Two, Episode Eleven: The Secret)
“If I had to, I could clean out my desk in five seconds; and nobody would ever know I had ever been here. And I’d forget too.” *sighs*
+++
Ryan’s Worst Moment: He mentions to Kelly and Pam that he doesn’t ever see himself after getting married after Kelly notes she’d like to get married in June and asks Ryan when he’d like to get married. Pam asks that he be more sensitive to Kelly’s feelings for him. Pam mentions to Ryan that he should be nicer about what he says since Kelly clearly is interested in him. (Season Two, Episode Seventeen: Dwight’s Speech)
“I know what I said”
+++
Ryan’s Most Memorable Moment: When Ryan get’s delivered new business cards on the day they are told the branch is closing (Season Three, Episode Seven: Branch Closing)
“It makes perfect sense that it would happen today because I just received this in the mail—a thousand business cards with this address and phone number”
+++
Ryan’s Best Line: Ryan gives “a reason” but really every reason for why he cannot go out with Michael, Andy and others to lunch so Jim can’t provide another reason. (Season Three, Episode Ten: A Benihana Christmas)
“Oh man I can’t, I’m not feeling so well. I got a ton of work to do here, MSG allergy, peanut allergy, I just ate their last night” (Season Three, Episode Ten: A Benihana Christmas) when he first gives Michael excuses to why he can’t go to ‘Asian Hooters’ and then the rest to Jim
Kelly Kapoor
Kelly’s Best Moment: When getting the Women in the Workplace Training from Jan and they’re going over sports metaphors about successes and failures in the workplace Kelly refocuses it on romantic sports metaphors, poking at Jan’s recent romantic interactions with Michael (Season Two, Episode Fifteen: Boys and Girls)
“What about second base? Like, if Michael said he got to second base with you. Does that mean you like, closed a deal? I mean that’s a baseball term right?”
+++
Kelly’s Worst Moment: When she tells Ryan he got her pregnant when he’s back visiting the branch after getting promoted (Season Four, Episode Two: Dunder Mifflin Infinity)
At first she solemnly nods no to the camera expressing she’s not pregnant but as we learn he agrees for them to talk in private after work about ‘everything’ she gets all excited and chirps “We have a date!”
+++
Kelly’s Most Memorable Moment: When another interesting thing finally happens in the office. (Season Eight, Episode Seventeen: Test the Store)
“Will someone explain what’s going on here. Since the interesting thing happened, so much time has past. It feels like my life is buffering”
+++
Kelly’s Best Line: Kelly explaining how she’s *so smart* following the minority executive training program…but she’s still Kelly (Season Seven, Episode One: Nepotism)
“You guys, I’m like really smart now, you don’t even know. You could ask me ‘Kelly, what’s the biggest company in the world?’ and I’d go blah blah blah, blah blah blah’ giving you the exact right answer”
