My bosses sometimes will schedule minors for 47 hours a week, with 13+ hour days but they throw in a fifteen minute break just before we hit eight hours so the don’t have to pay us overtime. And we are life guards, we work outside all day every day. We can be out side in 115 degree heat for two hours with a 20 minute break before we’re outside again. And most of the staff isn’t even 18 yet.
