You were trying to get a snack from the vending machine and it got stuck. It was horrible. You were already feeling like shit, working a double shift and not eating the whole time. To be honest you didn't know if you were angry or sad but you know you wanted to scream. Then Peter came up. You collected yourself before he saw your face as he walked up. He commented on your predicament and told you it'd be alright, then proceeded to hit the machine in a specific spot and the snack fell down. He always seems to know when you're having a bad time. To most people it's weird, hell it was weird to you the first time. At work you got sore and rickety a lot. You must have done something wrong because your shoulder was killing you and you told him. While you were explaining it he came up behind you, grabbed your shoulder at a leverage point, and shoved it. You made the most undignified moan in your life but the shame was more than worth it. Dating is hard, there is no if ands or buts. When you were going out on dates Hobie made sure you had someone on speed dial. Then he turned out to be horrible and you were left walking aimlessly your emergency contact wasn't answering so you called him before your phone died. It started absentmindedly. You two were hanging out and Miles put his hands in your hair and started playing, scratching, braiding. Immediately you relaxed and let your head tilt to him. Studying? Okay, sometimes you're just angry. With her you find something to do. Rocking out is a good one, both of you can do easily and try to keep up with one another loud and unafraid. You almost always leave those tired and ready to lay down. Going to the gym is another one. You can't fully keep up with her but she'll slow down for you without a second thought. You always leave from those ready to fight a gorilla. "Let's go wreck face."

You know how you have personal things like books and clothes. Those things have stuff in them. Your books will have little notes that say nothing but praise next to your bookmark. Your pockets will have little candies. A few times you found evil eye jewelry in your bag. It was something deeply personal to him that was an act he classified as wanting to do but not wanting to do it in the open because he didn't want you to give the things back. Those things were for you and it was a nice way to deliver it. "Wow. Those look like nice things that I do not know where they came from."
