Why is it that every time you're at another person's home, Inosuke just has to get his grubby hands on something expensive and irreplaceable?

"Don't!" you command, the boar freezing with his mouth wide open, the Mistress's pet koi fish flapping around desperately in Inosuke's pinched fingers. "Put!That!Back!"

"Do we really have to train!?" Zenitsu whines, throwing the blanket over his eyes to shield himself from the rays of the morning sun, "Let's just get married and leave the Demon Slayers Corps, Y/n!"

You yank him out of his futon by his calves. He shrieks in horror as you drag him outside, threatening him in a low voice, "I want to see you do twice the number of laps you normally do...or I'll let Inosuke know that it was you who stole the leftover onigiri from last night..."

Thwump! Thwump! Thwump!

Awoken by the strange sound, you open your eyes groggily and peer around the room. Seeing one futon empty, you groan as you stumble outside, finding your redheaded companion slamming his head into a boulder in frustration.

Nezuko stands a distance away, and even though her muzzle covers her mouth, you can see the frown on her face as she rubs her own forehead.

"Come on, Tanjiro!" he tells himself, "Just-!" Thwump! "One!" Thwump! "More!"

"Tanjiro! Get back in bed this instant! And stop that headbutting! I don't want Nezuko learning that too! It's hard enough trying to get her to break that tackling habit that Inosuke taught her!"

"Sorry!" he apologizes, scooping Nezuko in his arms and running back into the house.

Though it may seem harsh at times, they know you're doing all of it out of love. They know that you care so deeply for them, and that you're not afraid to pull the reins if they step out of line.

As the Mistress lets you know that the doctor has arrived, Tanjiro catches as you wordlessly slide a couple extra pieces of tempura to Inosuke's empty bowl.

After that long day of training, Zenitsu collapses to his futon, falling asleep immediately, groaning with exhaustion. Inosuke walked in on you quietly massaging the snoring blond's legs and feet with a special pain-relieving lotion.

And on Tanjiro's restless nights, Zenitsu can hear you leave to drag him back to bed, hiding your quiet yawns from the redhead as you let him talk his feelings out until Tanjiro eventually falls asleep.
