“Surprise Accidental Vaporization” being a common reasons for why Guardians are killed and revived at the Tower and elsewhere, particularly when another Guardian startles or scares a Warlock.

Imagine:

“Oh, yeah, Dani. She got vaporized again. Yeah, she jumped out and yelled ‘DANI!’ to a Sunsinger. Poor guy was so scared he turned Dani to ashes in an instant.”

Titan Mom!!! A punch titan needs help!!! I've gotten to the point where my fists are the best of weapons I can use... literally... I'm finding myself killing things with melee faster than with exotic weaponry... do i just go help people out or... ;-;

I’d say always help people out! But more importantly, man if you’ve found what works best for you, or at least something that works really well, definitely use it! Use that punch!!

Storytime, if you don’t mind. I was playing with my clanmmates once and as a striker Titan I was doing my usual shoulder charge dealio, but one of the guys thought heeeee was better. SO I challenged him to a no-gun-run match, we were doing Iron Banner. Supers, shoulder charge, melee, grenade only, no guns, don’t even pull the trigger. I won it in the end, but moral is if you’re good at punching, KEEP PUNCHING.

Sometimes I do no gun-run-strikes now, for funsises! Recommend them if you wanna try. and to make things even better, pick up Insurmountable Skullfort, getcha that double melee!

39! WHOO HOO! And yes, I find certain yellows to be... just a little too much, too over the top. Still though, hard to believe some people only see 18 or so. Then again, as with all common little bonuses, we come to take them for granted and see them as such, common. It's kinda like how I focus on disliking my eye's poor eyesight (and it's pretty bad) when I should be grateful for how I see colors so well.

25% of the people have a 4th cone and see colors as they are

Given the sudden interest for the color of dresses and vision, here some of the fascinating findings we did recently.

The color nuances we see depend on the number and distribution of cones (=color receptors) in our eye. You can check this rainbow: how many color nuances do you count?

You see less than 20 color nuances: you are a dichromats, like dogs, which means you have 2 types of cones only. You are likely to wear black, beige, and blue. 25% of the population is dichromat.

You see between 20 and 32 color nuances: you are a trichromat, you have 3 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green and red area). You enjoy different colors as you can appreciate them. 50% of the population is trichromat.

You see between 33 and 39 colors: you are a tetrachromat, like bees, and have 4 types of cones (in the purple/blue, green, red plus yellow area). You are irritated by yellow, so this color will be nowhere to be found in your wardrobe. 25% of the population is tetrachromat.

You see more than 39 color nuances: come on, you are making up things! there are only 39 different colors in the test and probably only 35 are properly translated by your computer screen anyway :)

It is highly probable that people who have an additional 4th cone do not get tricked by blue/black or white/gold dresses, no matter the background light ;)

My Warlock, Hunter, and Titan finally got the day off. Their hitting the Last City like Gary is coming tomorrow! Look out world! It's ladies night, and all the Guardian Gals are invited XD Ok now that that is out of my system, this is just a marker practice to get me a back into the swing of friday homework. P.S. to all the other marker artists out there, I found how to make things lighter! White. fabric. markers. They go on clear and dry white! Perfect for going back over with other markers, and you can go over it carefully with a damp tissue on certain brands of marker to lighten the clarity of the white. For example, amongst other more clear things, I used it to lighten the skin tone of my titan! Happy Friday! Kat
