(It's night and I'm tired okay?-)
i know that a thousand people before me must have drawn trucy in edgey's case but i'm a basic bitch and i HAD TO cos i finally played soj and my brain is effectively rotten :v
yknow in the tsp fandom i’ve heard:
lovebug
hatebug
cuddlebug
and i think sorrowbug
but never CHUCKLEbug
think of this: the chucklebug virus is agony! You have to be happy or the virus will make you feel pain worse than all you’ve ever known! Bear the pain with chuckles and smiles, that way the bug temporarily goes silent!
You have to make others happy! People have to be happy, because you’re in danger if they aren’t. Smile, everybody!
i wanna wei the more about this lol
He’s such a fucking dork. I love him so much ❤️
THERE'S HOPE FOR REIGEN GUYS!!!!
she's gonna turn out great don't worry man
You know, at first I wasn't sold on the whole poker thing, but thinking about it, it really makes sense that that game would be what Phoenix ends up spending so much of his time on.
Phoenix's whole life can honestly be described by 'being dealt bad cards all night but still managing to win'. Time and time and time again he has had setback after setback happen to him and he has had to manage to come out on top of it somehow. He even mentions that it's not unlike being in court, that it's all about reading people.
I think Phoenix started playing poker after his disbarment not just because he's good at it, but because it comforted him, in a way. I think part of it is the sense of agency it gave him, especially in a situation where he didn't have much, but also...
He says it himself, it reminded him of court.
Playing poker might've been his only other way to retain the feelings he felt when he was still cross-examining witnesses. It was his best bet of keeping that same fire burning, all those years, even if not as brightly. It wasn't the same, but I think it shows how much his job meant to him, to the point that it's very hard to seperate from who he is.
You can take the man from the courtroom, but you can't take the courtroom from the man, and all that
