one thing that i'm such a firm believer in, is that you have the power to close a chapter in your life and begin a new one. clearing the clutter of your life, resetting and refreshing your week and turning the page on something id like to grow from is my idea of free therapy. enjoy 🎀

DIGITAL DETOX:

take a break from social media, social media definitely has such an impact on your mind, and sometimes it's wise just to have a mini break to reset your mind and reflect. do the things that you consume online align with you? do they improve your mental health? do they give you tips? if it's not something that positively affects you, then it's probably wise to give it a break or even cut it off completely. there's no fun in feeling bad about urself, and you've got the power to change that!

CLEAN YOUR SPACE:

creating a fresh environment is a crucial part of stabilising and rebooting your life. having an untidy area literally affects you negatively in so many ways. your room reflects your mind.. clean mind = clean room. if it's overwhelming, sort it into categories, listen to your favorite playlist. it doesn't have to be a chore, make it fun.

SELF CARE:

even though self care should literally be a regular thing for you because it's so calming and definitely improves your life, it always helps to do some additional self care to relax and refresh your mind. do whatever selfcare you enjoy, personally i always keep myself hydrated, pampered with my beauty sessions - there's nothing calmer than having a bath and painting your nails, going on pinterest, meditating or having a little manifestation session.

CUT TIES:

whatevers making you so stressed and so unhappy in your life when you are the main character, needs to go. realize that when somethings upsetting you or not helping you in any way shape or form, it's time to let go. let go of old habits, the ones that are holding you back, create new ones and start fresh. build yourself from the bottom up. change your environment - if it's something like school, work or your friends, set boundaries for yourself, don't let anyone treat you less than you deserve. if a place or person drains you, explore new opportunities or distance yourself.

CREATE NEW GOALS:

additionally, cutting ties also opens a new door to create new goals for the new and improved you. what have you always wanted to do? what inspires you? do it! no ones telling you that you can't do these things but yourself, youre so so worthy of achieving your goals.

SHIFT YOUR MINDSET

i'll say it bluntly, you're a queen, no one can make you feel bad about yourself but you. affirm it, you are gorgeous, authentic, charming and so much more, you can do anything your heart desires, literally!

And how do I know this? Because for years, I was my own biggest bully. Healing that part of me is something I'm learning to do one day at a time.

Last night, I had a really good journaling sess for the first time in a while. It hit me: I already am everything I desire to be. I already am my higher self, even if this current "reality" — the 3D — isn’t showing it yet. And so are you!

You might say this way of thinking is "delulu" or "faking it till you make it," which is maaaybe a little true. But your mind literally shapes your perspective.

Example: I could walk up to you right now and compliment your hairstyle. To me, it's one of the coolest things I've seen today — but if you’re not happy with it, you might ignore or brush off my compliment.

You made “my hair sucks” part of your reality, your "truth" — even though no one has bashed your hair.

No one can shape your world/truth unless you let them.

You're in full control of how you react, the career you choose, the pants you wear. You're also in full control of any limitations or beliefs you’ve picked up — whether from yourself or from others.

If someone says you look better in red, that doesn't make it a fact. It doesn't mean every other color suddenly looks bad on you. That’s their perception of you — their world. If you feel like you look better in blue, then you do. Because it’s your world, and you said so.

You say your dream self is kindhearted, soft, confident, healthy — mentally and physically. Okay, now stop imagining a gap between that version and the you now. There’s no gap anymore.

From here on out, no matter what the 3D shows, you are who you just described. Each day and every action — you become softer. You set your first boundary. You feel more at peace because you journaled or meditated this week. And you might think, "This is only the beginning. I’m not there yet."

Thing is, you are.

You’re doing what your higher self would do. You’re shifting.

No matter what your current beliefs are, you have all the power to rewrite them. You made your old beliefs "true," so you can make new ones true too.

And yes, it's absolutely going to feel like lying to yourself at first. But if you've believed in one thing for years, of course it may take just as many to believe in another.

No one's perception of you is you. YOU know who you are.

You shape your reality.

And I wholeheartedly believe that you and I are already everything we need to be — we're just now learning to see it.

it’s important to have different routines ready to match your mood and energy level. which is why I believe preparing for self care days for when you’re just not feeling your best is essential and a great way to look out for yourself. here’s my guide to self care days for low energy.

despite your low energy, it’s important you still get your daily movement. however, exercise doesn’t always have to be intense.

try doing one of these

— 2 minutes of touching/trying to touch your toes

— 5-7 minutes of full body stretching

— 10 minutes of yoga

or maybe just stretch your neck, roll your shoulders, and take a few deep breaths. whatever you’re ready to do :)

do something for your mind. journal, get your thoughts out, meditate, read five pages of an inspiring book. do something that you will love and that your mind will thank you for. whether it’s sitting in silence for a few minutes or playing a game that’ll challenge your brain.

the last thing you want to do is give your mind the responsibility of remembering your tasks. i don’t care how little you have on your schedule, write a to do list. on a low energy day, it’s important we’re easy on ourselves. getting everything out of our head and onto a piece of paper will not only make tasks seem more manageable but will also make our minds feel a bit lighter.

write everything. I mean it. even the small and seemingly insignificant tasks. even the parts of your routine that you do everyday anyways, write it all down.

even though we’re a little bit down, that doesn’t mean we can cheat on the promises and boundaries we made with ourselves.

a low energy day doesn’t mean you can jump right back into your old habits. you’ll only feel worse if you do. it can be comforting to spend the whole day in bed, liking relatable TikToks and having a 7 hour screen time. but that’s not real rest. do something that’ll nourish you while also making you feel relaxed and comfortable. whether that’s watching an episode of your comfort show, rereading a chapter of your favorite book, or listening to your all time favorite songs while you just relax.

low energy is not a reason to practice unhealthy bad habits.

do what you want and don't be afraid to do it alone. if no one else wants to go with you somewhere, or do something with you, learn to have that ability to do it alone. and obviously i don't mean illegal or bad stuff, but i mean if you've been meaning to try out a new activity but no one else seems interested, go do it on your own! when you start doing this it'll show people that whether they join you or not, you will still go and do things that make you happy.

say no. just say no. its not that scary once you start saying it often. you don't wanna do something? say no. you don't wanna give something? say no. you don't need to have a reason.

get a life outside of them or get a life outside of whats draining you. when your whole life is primarily centred around maybe a toxic friend, a job that drains you, something that makes you feel very anxious, then of course you'd be on survival mode 24/7. because all you're thinking and stressing about is that thing. so instead maybe after a long day of school or work, go home and do something you love. because remember, your life doesnt stop after school/ work okay?? you can go and actually DO STUFF to take your mind off things. you don't even need to go out of your house, you could have a cozy night in with yummy food and your fav movie, pick up a hobby or if you do wanna go outside your house, meet up with some friends, learn a sport, join a club, go paragliding or something- anything that makes you feel happy!!

refuse embarrassment. because you can. because torturing yourself over what happened in the past is doing you absolutely no good right now. just learn and move onnn- LEARN AND MOVE ON! if learning takes time, so be it but make sure that you're focussing on learning, on why you did that, and not beating yourself up for making a mistake. and also because when you show people you're not embarrassed about something, they'll realise that they cannot hold that over your head. now you have the power.

when you say you're gonna do something, DO IT. don't be all talk and no walk, people will lose respect and trust in you. don't say anything unless you are confident that you will actually do it. "do what you say but do not say what you do"- keep up to your promises you've made to others & yourself, but also keep private. what people don't know, they can't ruin.

how to manifest: physical changes

1. focus on your desires and positive affirmations.

- think of how having that desire makes you feel and any opportunities it may bring (love, jobs, etc.)

2. align energy with what you desire. a good example of this is changing habits, which can be manifested as well.

- if you want to lose weight, you can also manifest that your eating habits change in favor of your weight loss journey.

3. methods. use different methods that you enjoy. 3•6•9 method, repetition, etc.

- for physical appearance changes, i use a method i like to call “the gmo method”. gmo means “genetically modified organism”, so this method exercises the manifestation of modifying genetics. these type of affirmations refer mostly to you already having that desire in your dna, and you’re now activating those genes.

don’t be shy about experimenting with different methods and subliminals! the more you learn about what works for you, the easier manifesting is.

Hydrate like your life depends on it, because your enjoyment of life sure does.

Get an expensive, high-quality multivitamin. Drugstore brands don't cut it.

Put on sunscreen before your face is ever hit by rays, and watch your bedroom shades. I've received a sunburn from the morning sun peeking through before!

Research retinoids like retinol & tretinoin, and why mega-dosing vit A can function similarly. Don't forget your neck if applying topically.

Find out what you're allergic to. Eliminate all the common allergens for a week - wheat, dairy, sugar, nuts, shellfish, eggs - and then reintroduce them one at a time. Your skin and gut will tell you if something is harming you if you're patient and LISTEN to your body.

Environmental allergens will kill your skin too - get tested for allergies to pet dander, mold, dust mites, etc. especially if you wake up with mucus habitually or feel tired a lot.

Fill your diet with antioxidants.

Quit using lip balms that make your lips more chapped and switch to applying oils.
