Here is what Max said about the situation in the grandstands. So for those who twisted the WRITTEN words maybe you can listen better.
Honestly delighted to be a Carlos fan. The legit chaos he’s causing. The people in the Charles tag hating him so hard. Such energy *chef’s kiss* like, kudos to them, it must be exhausting.. 😂
Meanwhile, Carlos is doing his thing. He’s bossing Ferrari around. He’s multitasking his slow ass driving with strategy excellence. He’s taking off his helmet and the hair is salon grade volumous. He’s building himself up, loving himself. He’s putting the ‘chill’ in 🌶
Five years ago this would have aggravated me so much that people were on his case, but I genuinely do not give a shit. Is he slower than Charles, yeah, probably. Is he making a nuisance of himself, definitely. Am I here for it.. oh hell yes.
Alright so I don’t usually post stuff here but I have some interesting information that I thought might interest people here.
So one of my dad’s friends from work works for the fia during some of the races, so whenever he can take some time of from work he usually goes down to races because motorsport is his biggest interest. Either way, he was at our place and we were talking about F1 and the topic of drivers friendships came up for some reason, and he said that from what he had seen when he has been at races, the only friendship on the grid that he said he felt was a genuine and strong friendship was between Carlos and Lando.
And the fact that they have a special friendship isn’t really news to anyone who has eyes but still the fact that people who work within F1 says things like this shows how good of a friendship they actually have.
(Obviously I don’t mean that the other friendships on the grid isn’t genuine or anything, I just thought it might be interesting to know what people who are actually there when the cameras aren’t rolling sees)

Ferrari’s strategy and communication issues 100% fucked this for Charles. Carlos earned his podium as he has earned his seat as he has showed his worth to this team. Yes, Charles is better and is more in tune with this car but that does not mean Carlos is bad and it sure as fuck doesn’t mean Carlos needs to self sabotage for Charles’ sake. What the fuck are you people smoking to be so batshit insane? Leave Carlos the fuck alone.

F1 is tough. No pilot will admit they can't race. No team will want to replace their n°1 driver. It's a competition, it's a fight... Wake up!
Truth is neither Lando nor McLaren have a say in this. Hopefully there's a medical center at every gp place. If doctors say "clear to race" then of course you jump in the car. If "unfit to race" then there's no debate.
But come on, we are not at a point where a team forces a pilot to race against the doctor's opinion. If Lando drove last Sunday and took p8 then he could. And I hope he can do it again this week.
seeing some controversy over Lando and him racing this weekend. Lando is an adult, he knows when he can and can't race and if he feels up to it then that's his decision. Yes it's Monaco that requires a lot of focus and concentration but he's probably already thought about that. If McLaren think it's too risky for him to race, they won't let him and they will not force him to even if he is still not right and risk his health (andreas literally said this last week).
if Lando chooses to race this weekend which seems likely, don't start screaming and shouting at McLaren because they have probably taken every step necessary to make sure he is okay to race and Lando himself wouldn't risk putting himself or anyone else in danger by racing when he isn't fit enough, especially in monaco. Him potentially not doing media duties (we'll have to see tomorrow what happens there) gives him more time to rest and be ready for the sessions and is probably precautionary to make sure he can take part.
when it comes to the reserve driver scenario, Oscar will not be their first option. Alpine offered him to McLaren but McLaren kindly said thank you and never mentioned it again. they have their own agreement with Mercedes which would be the safest bet but i don't see this being the route this weekend goes.
as a whole, don't think you know more than the doctors that have been keeping an eye on him and most likely cleared him to race. if there was a risk to him taking part this weekend, he wouldn't be allowed in the car ... simple as that.

This may be rude of me but I just have to ask. How can you be mutuals on here with people that hate Max? Cause I’ve seen you reblog stuff or send asks/get asks from blogs on here that make their hate towards him very well known and use really hateful speech towards him and I just can’t understand how someone who says their a fan of Max can stay friends with someone who calls him a human error, a stain on f1 or mv0 and wish that he crashes or even worse (won’t say it).
No worries, just ask. If I don‘t wanna answer it that‘s my decision, but in general my inbox is open for everything except hate.
My real mutuals, the one’s I regularly chat and banter with or even call friends, are not anti Max! I know that for sure.
Usually, when I see hate against Max, I unfollow. I don‘t have anyone blocked, I simply just unfollow. For sure I follow some people who feel indifferent about him (or maybe don‘t like him but stay silent about it), but I don‘t think I follow Max haters?
Reblogging is another thing. When I see a post I like and want to reblog I don‘t always pay attention to who the original poster is. I don‘t even know or follow every person I reblog from and I definitely don‘t wanna go on their blog to find out if they‘re anti Max or not every time.
The ask thing confuses me a bit. Do I really send asks to / receive asks from Max haters?
Now I‘m curious and would like to know which blogs you’re talking about. If you want you can tell me their names anonymously, I promise I won‘t expose anyone!!! I‘d just like to know who you consider a Max hater out of the people I reblog from and apparently get asks / send asks to? Please don‘t hold back I really wanna know! 👀
No matter how hard I try to not follow some blogs I always end up seeing negative posts about Carlos' driving capabilities/his future with Ferrari, his chances at wins and titles (by fans, the media and even Binotto) vs positive posts about Mick and his (near) future with the team.
I'm usually pretty chill but everytime it makes me feel homicidal, my blood pressure rises and I see red. I know he can do it, I just want Ferrari to give him an actual chance and believe in him as much as they do for Charles.
I might need a Carlos fans support group or something, I'm gonna have grey hair by Abu Dhabi.
It pisses me off too, but honestly, pay them no mind. I think Ferrari is definitely beginning to recognize his worth. Carlos is, ultimately, a very opportunistic driver - he pushes himself harder than I would say 95% of the grid specifically so that when he finds an opening, he takes it. I think he says it best: he is an aggressive driver, he's also extremely level-headed and not willing to risk jeopardizing his own race and the team's effort on a whim. They're still the best pairing on the grid for a reason - not because Carlos is a good Driver #2, but because he's a damn good driver, period. As for Binotto, you can see that change too. The way he comforts Carlos imo is testament to that.
I'm waiting patiently.
