I canβt be the only one who sees it.
Hi guys! Just wanted to come on here and share this article with you all. This article features Lyle and he talks about spending his first Christmas with Erik in Prison after not seeing each other in 22 years! I decided to share this with you all since I thought that it was fitting since itβs Christmas time!
'I think for us the gift is just being here together. It can be bittersweet, right, because being together brings back a lot of memories and things from the past⦠it's like seeing a family member that you have so much history with, not all of it good.
'But at the same time it's just, two decades being separated, every day is sort of shocking. So to just see my brother is just sort of a shock, so I don't think it'd be any different on Christmas!'

Erikβs 12th grade English teacher is asked by Kuriyama to evaluate his performance of a Shakespearean soliloquy.
βAs done by a 12th grader, it was quite goodβ¦as a piece of acting, it wasnβt superb.β

Menendez Myth: Kitty and Jose were shot while they were eating strawberries and whipped cream
Fact check: False
One of the most perverse pro prosecution lies, is that Jose and Kitty Menendez were shot while innocently watching TV and eating strawberries and ice cream, or blueberries and whipped cream. Even the prosecution doesn't know it's own lies. There was an empty glass found, with remnants of blueberries. But they were not shot while eating berries and cream. Firstly the glasses were empty, so unless Erik and Lyle were extremely considerate and let their parents finish their snack, that isn't possible. Also there is no blood on the glasses, no bullet holes, nothing. This is a lie that was used by the prosecution in an attempt to whitewash Kitty and Jose's action. To minimize the fear that the boys felt in that last week.
The glass is seen here on the table.
This is from Dominick Dunne's first article, written in October 1990 titled, Nightmare on Elm Drive. As you can see, the narrative is already being set, that Jose and Kitty were innocently murdered by their evil sons.
The truth comes from Leslie Abramson's book, The Defense is Ready
This video also debunks the claims
The moral of the Menendez case, is how much media narratives can drive public opinions and how careful we have to be when analyzing these cases. The tabloid media is run on scandal and intrigue, it cares little for the truth. The truth is a lost art it seems.

Hi guys! I wanted to share some rare behind the scenes footage of Erik & Lyle being interviewed by Barbara Walters
"While Lyle was winning the 18 [and-unders], his not-as-always-as-serious-as-he-should-be brother Erik displayed some uncanny and recently discovered concentration in his final round destruction of Lars Beck. Erik finished his final round match quickly, and was able to root his brother on in the later stages of the Bernstein match. It provided the emotional lift Lyle needed. 'It was a great feeling at the end when we both won, said Lyle, who is a junior at the Princeton Day School. 'Erik came onto the court to congratulate me, and we just felt very close. It was really great.' Consider Erik's support a returned favor. You see, it often takes Lyle's hard-working example to keep Erik interested in the business at hand.
'Lyle definitely helps keep me in line, and makes sure I don't goof around too much, said Erik, an eighth-grader at PDS. 'He doesn't kid around at all when he's practicing, and I'm starting to be serious about it like him.' 'Lyle is definitely an inspiration for me. He helps me on my serves sometimes, and also makes me do my wind-sprints. He inspires me to work harder, because I see how well he's done by working hard.' Erik's elder brother agrees. 'I think Erik got pumped to win in Pittsburgh when he saw how pumped I was,' said Lyle. 'He's always had good concentration in tournaments, but I think this time he was a little more motivated."

"He says that Lyle needs him and he can't leave Lyle. Even though it's very unlikely they'll be living together in prison. they hope to be able to see each other there"

βDid you see a difference in the amount of attention that Kitty gave Erik versus the amount of attention she gave Lyle?β
βYes. Kitty whether she was more prepared for motherhood when Erik was born, there was a difference, I think Kitty had a rapport with Erik, Kitty never had a rapport with Lyle. I know that sounds awful but thatβs the way I saw it.β

βA problem at the trial was gender bias, that because we were dealing with males in an incest family that thereβs sort of a perception that βwell maybe it was something that he wanted, something that he allowed to happen.β That he shouldnβt be allowed to feel afraid because heβs a male. I really felt that people might of seen this case very differently if it were a sister I was protecting or that was involved in this and not a brother.β β Lyle Menendez, 1996.
