converse, combat boots, baggy black pants, hoodies/sweatshirts, chipped polish, e-readers, the smell of old books, forgotten breakfast, soft giggles or loud cackles, multiple piercings, either blaring mcr sped-up music or random songs, long nights, forgetting to study and still making an A, being unusually smart, burnout, calloused hands, no sports, outside, climbs trees, worried about grades even though they have all A's, lets you copy off their homework, never talks or constantly talking, always finishes work early, poetry, writes, doodles horror, horror movies, halloween is the best holiday and no one can tell them otherwise, plaid pajama pants, curling up with a book, literally never sleeps, eyebags™, overly aggressive, kind of a loner but people randomly kidnap them into their social circles, bored, no stimulation, probably gay, mentally ill most likely

recently been listening to the song "Mystical Magical" by Benson Boone, and all I can hear is James writing it about Regulus, so I gotta brain dump.

IF ANYONE WHO CAN WRITE WANTS TO TURN THIS INTO AN ACTUAL FIC PLSSSS TAG ME BECAUSE I REALLY WANNA READ IT

⭐James is the lead singer of the Marauders, and his guitarist/best friend has a very off-limits younger brother who James has been sneaking around with

⭐Regulus is super guarded, so he constantly is mean to James and then super demanding of affection out of the blue

⭐Reg comes on tour with his brother, and while Sirius and Remus are on a date, James and Reg explore the city and find a cute little ice cream shop where they try 'moon beam' ice cream, and it instantly becomes Reg's favorite

⭐ Reg usually wears all black, but he once wore blue jeans to one of their shows, and James was OBSESSED(down bad fr). So now, whenever Reg wants to get his way, he wears them.

⭐ James wants more than anything to be Regulus's boyfriend and not just his FWB, so he writes a song about it(because he doesn't know how to express emotions. Very Camp Rock 2 of him)

⭐ The rest of the band loves the song, especially Sirius, who has no idea it's about his brother

⭐at the next show, James sings it and everyone loves it (especially Reg, but he wouldn't say that)

⭐ james finds him after the set to see how he felt about the song, and regulus calls him a "cocky bastard" before kissing him

⭐ Sirius walks in and freaks out super dramatic.

⭐ Regulus tells him to stop being so dramatic and says, "I have to watch you snogging Remus all the bloody time, so I can kiss my boyfriend whenever I bloody well want to".

⭐which makes James deliriously happy because Reg called him his boyfriend

⭐ Sirius then starts gagging once he realizes he just sang a song about James wanting his baby brother.
