HE'S TOO PRECIOUS FOR THIS WORLD ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Rafa: [game face on] Rafa: [smiles and becomes a human marshmallow]
US Open 2017
We say goodbye to another great tennis player and fighter, David Ferrer ๐ช๐ธ๐ญ. His speed made up for his height. Such a shame he had to end it by pulling out in the midst of the match. Clearly, he has a very dear friendship with Rafa and it makes me so happy that Rafa was his very last grand slam opponent. He plans to play one last time for Spain ๐ช๐ธ in the Davis Cup, which is around the next month. Hopefully, his calf injury does not affect him ๐๐ป. After that, he will hang up his racquet ๐ญ. Wishing all the best for him and his family ๐๐ปโค๏ธ.
Me? I would be star struck for a few seconds, then I'd grab for the same thing he's grabbing for and hopefully, HOPEFULLY ๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ, our fingers touch ๐๐ Then, he'd say "Sorry." I'd say "No, it's okay." And have a conversation with him ๐๐

Pierre, my love, itโs 9 AM for me. You canโt just give me nosebleeds this early! ๐
this man and his thirst trap...i hate him๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
I ship FEDAL all the way, but this is still a better love story than Twilight ๐โฅ๏ธ
when Grigor visited the Rafael Nadal Academyย | on โ seeing Rafa on his home turf โ :
โIt was great. I think we had an amazing time. Honestly I mean heโs a special guy to me, Iโve always looked up to him. Heโs just โ what can I say. I mean I donโt think thereโs enough words to explain the importance of that for me to be there with him on the court practicing and kind of just learning. Even if itโs on the court or whenever we have that little time to โ while weโre grabbing a bit of food or anything like this. And then we still had some time to enjoy a little bit; we were going around the island a little bit, trying to enjoy the water, so just spending time like two regular guys it didnโt feel โ the best thing it didnโt feel like any competing or anything like this, and I think this is so important, like a healthy Iโd say rivalry but itโs not exactly the way it is. We compete against each other but in the same time we kind of could put everything aside, we didnโt have to talk about tennis all the time, we enjoyed other topics and just spent some time together. I was very frank with him, and very straight, I was like โlisten, I want to ask you some thingsโ and heโs โyeah sure, ask meโ so I was just asking him right away without pulling back, and yeah, he was actually a little bit surprised sometimes which was pretty funny but Iโm a pretty straight-up person so thatโs cool.โ
SAY IT LOUDER!!!
For all people who say "poor aegon aemond is bitch how can he how dare he", do you remember how two years ago you said exactly the opposite thing?
Seriously, I don't understand all that hype and problem about what Aemond did cause...it was expected?
Seriously, I am the only one who really expected this from Aemond?
Did you people even watch the show? Aegon is an idiot who never took his brother seriously. He doesn't think before talking or doing something. He bullied Aemond, he thinks of him as a hound, which always will execute commands and never bite the hand that feeds. But Aegon forgot that he IS NOT the hand that feeds Aemond. He never was.
And Aemond? He is full of rage for what Aegon did to him and full of jealousy cause he thinks that he is better than Aegon and deserves the crown more than his brother. Aemond doesnโt forgive and doesn't forget. And when he is in rage, he can do really terrible things, he doesn't think about consequences.
I don't want to say that Aegon and Aemond didn't love each other at all, but...their brotherly bond is sick, traumatized, and toxic. After everything, what happened with them, with family, they just don't know what it's like to be a brothers and how they should do that. When Aegon needed a friend, Aemond ignored him. And when Aemond needed his older brother, Aegon hurt him.
There is a lot of pain and hatred between them.
The real question is, did Aemond plan all of this, or did he just seize the moment? Or maybe it was another rush like with Luke?
P.s. for people who say that in the books, Aemond was absolutely loyal to his brother.
No. There is a theory that exists since the book was published that Aemond wanted to kill Aegon in the battle of Rook's rest, and he was responsible for Aegons injuries. No one could prove or disprove that, but still, it looks like true.
So, this moment can be seen as one of the few things relevant to the books.
This. THIS! ๐๐ป
I'm seeing on tiktok tons of fangirls turning on Aemond, saying that they got the ick.
Seriously? Because he's not actually the sadistic mafia dom of your fanfics? Because he was vulnerable? Because it's mommy issues and not horny girls proudly screaming daddy every two seconds?
The double standards, the gender roles gendering, the faux feminism of it all...
Exactly! Also, God forbid if itโs Max, all of a sudden people think itโs on a road rage level ๐
Okay but I seriously dont wanna be seeing โwhy wasnโt Max angryโ about the DNF like we saw in Bahrain.
What is the point about being pissed!?? He knows he didnโt do anything and knows his team are going to try their best.
Max literally is not an angry manโฆand I donโt wanna see that shit, itโs just feeding into the media narrative so letโs just chill.
Where are all the Ewan Mitchell body shamers now?
To the people that previously body shamed this talented beautiful man.
GO FUCK YOURSELF!!
This man deserves every single ounce of praise going for his performance and dedication to his role as Aemond.
Agreed 100%. Yes itโs Lewisโ home race...but from an ethical and moral stand point, could this even be considered a win in his heart? I wouldnโt if it were me IMHO but thatโs just me
I am just full of mixed feelings:
- Happy for Lewis and just in awe of his race - kinda sad for Charles because he fully deserved to win as well considering how he drove with the motor issues - devastated for Max and just hoping heโs okay - ecstatic for Daniel for being able to hold P5 even when Carlos was within a second the entire race - ย wondering what couldโve been for Lando if the pitstop had been okay.
