"Sweetheart." <- unironically
(if nico ever got flustered bc of will’s hotness) "Oh, please, Death Boy- don’t choke. At least…not yet."
"Well, sure, there’s that rule about no boy and girl being alone in a cabin. But…no one ever said anything about two boys."

omg, i s2g i figured riverdale’s mystery out
to summarize (sorry for repetition from other post but i wanted everything in one post):
1. everyone keeps pointing out how similar archie and jason looked and were. they had more in common than sports; they were both tutored by ms grundy (pause for vom), they were both at the river. they both had red hair. archie was the intended target, and the killer is grundy’s husband.
why? like i’ve said, i hated that plot to high hell but grundy did seem to be really genuinely afraid of him (assuming that was the truth), afraid that he’d do something terrible to her. if it was the truth and that’s why she changed her identity, then ostensibly he’s real dangerous.
2. plot wise, also like i’ve said, it would rly teach archie a lesson in consequences and shake up his naivety, but it also makes sense because the only other people with motives to torture a kid for a week seemed to acquit themselves in the recent episode
polly has an alibi, the coopers genuinely seem like they didn’t do it (plus it’d be way too obvious), and the blossoms wouldn’t torture jason
3. we’re halfway through the season; if we haven’t met the killer yet i’d be surprised. if i’ve learned anything by doing meta and theories is how to structure pacing. the killer has to strike again, and it has to be someone we’ve seen; someone who’s a recurring character. all of the main characters seem innocent.
so back to my first point, who’s the only lone character with those connections to grundy and archie, re: music?
professor oscar castillo.
4. remember in 1x05 where he stiffened at the name “grundy” ? he said “the music teacher who left?” remember when he turned away and said something weird about the connection she clearly had with archie? how he clearly hated archie on sight? he’s grundy’s husband.
the actor has been booked for a recurring role [x], and i’ll bet he was at the river that day, he thought jason was archie, but after he’d realized it wasn’t archie he couldn’t let jason leave. so he tortured him for information on grundy and archie and eventually shot jason, but now has to wait for the right time to strike again.
it’s him. he did it. i’ll put money on it.

imagine bellarke in a relationship and not capable of keeping their hands to each others but in a non-sexual way… like…
bellamy resting his arm on clarke’s shoulders when they sit next to each other
clarke always playing with bellamy’s hand when they hang out with friends
bellamy delicately letting his hand on her lower back when they walk together
clarke always running her fingers in bellamy’s hair and making a mess of it
bellamy caressing clarke’s hair when she sleeps her head on his lap
their feet always meeting under the table when they eat
their hands always linked when they fall asleep next to each other
basically bellarke incapable of standing apart for a few minutes and always having to touch each other just because they can azsdfgjkl
May we meet again.
The fact that I've spent my entire Saturday reading, social mediaing thus far. Our generation

All season, we’ve had many, many shots of Clarke from over Bellamys shoulder.
Right from the very first reunion hug, they shot her face from over his shoulder. But at this point they are facing each other.
It’s only after he tries to get her to open up at the campfire, and she doesn’t,
the shots are then filmed from over his shoulder, but his back is turned to her. (Or could it be the arrival of his girlfriend?)
Anyway, there’s a lot of them. She’s always there, that’s the way they chose to frame it, as if she’s always in the back of his mind.
We all know the infamous over Bellamys shoulder shot of Clarke, reacting to the first time she sees Bellamy and Echo kiss.
Then there’s Clarke making a deal with Diyoza in 5x07:
They also film her from over his shoulder as he walks away from her in 5x09, leaving her screaming for him as he’s on his way to give Madi the flame.
They use it a lot. But he never turns back to look at her.
Not until this moment.
Above, here Clarke is again, over Bellamys shoulder in 5x13. This is when Madi decides to go and talk to him. And then she tells him. About the radio calls, about how much Clarke cares, and finally, he turns to look at her.
He’s finally ready to look at her, and acknowledge that she’s always there, in the back of his mind.
Again, as time is running out and they are waiting for their friends, as Clarke calls for him, they film her over his shoulder. Again, he turns to look at her, and tells her exactly why he can’t go. He can’t do it again. It was too painful.
Later, when they’re safe, he lets her know she’s forgiven and asks her to come to the bridge. But as he walks away, again, he looks back over his shoulder at her.
Like he wants to say something.
And again, once more, on the bridge, there she is. She’s there because he asked her to be. He needs her there.
And the final ending shot, over both their shoulders, of their new world. Bellamy is the one that brings her in towards him.
Sorry for the crappy screenshots, but I thought this was worth throwing out there, it’s a very interesting framing choice! If anyone finds any more let me know, I’ll add them to the list!
Clarke is the only one better than Bellamy at classes.
