No, I will not elaborate on this.

So y’know how 2 of the curses Percy got in HoH were a stabbing in the gut and an uncontrollable tic in his right eye.

Ethan Nakamura a boy who only had his right eye remaining got killed by being stabbed in the stomach and then he fell from Olympus.

Now here’s where I put my theorist hat on because I do not believe Ethan would curse Percy especially not with pain in his eye. But there is a character who would curse Percy, who has quite a hatred for him, who would have known Ethan as a fellow member of the Titan Army and who would’ve been there at the battle of Manhattan to find Ethan’s body.

Alabaster Torrington

Alabaster would have wanted to curse Percy especially after the tragedy that happened to his siblings finding Ethan’s body would’ve been the last straw and I can imagine him thinking “I wish it had been you, Jackson. I wish you got stabbed. I wish you had your eye taken. I wish you would feel the pain he felt.”

I also have to add that another curse he got was feeling like his body had been blown up by a blowtorch and I fully believe that was a curse from the Andromeda explosion

Zeus!Percy (and possible siblings)

So I was thinking about Zeus!Percy and I was thinking about his possible childhood. I actually feel like it would relatively the same since he’s a big three child. He’d probably still have to deal with Gabe and all that but I do feel like his anger issues may be a bit intensified which may lead him to be put in more military schools when he was a child and possibly more fights.

His sense to protect would be greater I feel like which wouldn’t change much, at least not in his childhood.

One thing I do actually want to change is Percy possibly killing Gabe here. Zeus is a god of justice and especially after finding out Gabe hit his mom I feel like Percy might’ve killed Gabe (albeit possibly an accident).

His powers would mostly be control of storm related activities with his two main abilities being heliokinesis (control of the sun) and Atmo/Electrokinesis.

Other aspects and epithets of his powers would be unlocked throughout his quests, with him discovering the chthonic side of Zeus in the BoTL.

So basically Perseus is like a mini Zeus lol.

I think, especially because in the AU I’m considering Thalia to be a child of Apollo (still thinking on this). People would be very afraid of Percy at first, just like in canon and would slowly open up to him, but after his abnormal powers people would sort of stay away from him in fear because it’s like “wtf a child of Zeus isn’t supposed to have these types of powers are they??”

Especially when he shows off less than heroic traits people will stay away from him in this au, although after TLO he’s officially respected, especially after he stood up to his father on the treatment of demigods.

Now as for siblings one I definitely want to do for sure is Ethan as a child of Zeus. I feel like Ethan would be the opposite of Percy. While Percy got all the cool powers and domains, Ethan got nothing besides Zeus’s sense of justice and his war like attributes. He’d feel resentful towards Percy, especially because he wasn’t claimed and he feels like because he was born without powers, Zeus didn’t deem him worthy of being claimed.

Other things I thought of:

- Blue food would most definitely still be a thing.

- Percy controlling Poison is most definitely not going to be a thing, but I am cooking up some ideas, at least for the “dark” side of his powers.

- Being as I’m making him a legacy of Apollo, he still gets the weirdly prophetic dreams which definitely I intend to go a little deeper into. With the potential of alternate futures and Percy seeing it through his dreams (there are three fates after-all)

- Percy isn’t really close with Zeus or most of his siblings, but Poseidon like absolutely loves him. He’s like “woah can I claim this guy??” Just because of how unhinged and unrestrained Percy is going to be lol (even though Poseidon has children of his own).

- Nyx has a weird obsession with him. I thought it was as sort of uninteresting Nyx was interested in Nico. I feel like it would’ve been more interesting if Nyx was interesting in Percy or like someone else, especially because of the growing darkness of Percy in Tartarus. It would also be weirdly uncharacteristic of children of Zeus and I feel like Percy is legit all about breaking the Zeus child stereotypes.

- Percy is so like Zeus in certain ways, like when he’s commanding in battle or when he gets angry he looks so much like Zeus especially in his eyes it’s uncanny.

What’s the Gaea/Final fight au? 👀

Its an AU where Ethan survives the war, he and Al had gotten into an argument prior to the Andromeda that was put on hold because of it and then following the war/massacre they start arguing again.

Ethan is angry that Alabaster didn't back down even after Kronos was defeated, and caused more bloodshed. Alabaster accuses him of treason, etc, etc. It goes on for quite a while with them very much insulting each other, Ethan brings up Al's fatal flaw, Al brings up Nemesis' mistreatment, etc, etc. It goes on and on until Ethan pulls his sword out which leads to a whole ass sword fight.

Of course, the other army members are watching all of this, and hadn't seen fit to step in before the swords were drawn, as arguments were quite frequent and got more and more frequent as the war went on, but they were never physical.

As they tried to intervene, one of them managed to get Als sword out of his hand and incapacitate him from fighting back, not that Ethan processed that before he attacked again. He ended up slicing Al's jugular which caused him to bleed out. Seeing all of that sort of flipped a switch in Ethans mind, and he began panicking, trying to save Al despite his already being dead. In the end, the other army members ended up dragging him off Als body, but not before Ethan could snag one of his rings.

Thats where the Final Fight name is from, buttt

fun fact before we continue; Alabaster was sent to punishment in the Underworld, and his punishment was an endless scenario in which his siblings/loved ones are hunting him on the Princess Andromeda.

Ethan winds up at Camp Jupiter with the help of Hecate after sacrificing an eyepatch of his that Alabaster stitched protection runes into. Originally when she demanded a sacrifice he thought she wanted his other eye 💀 He's also constantly plagued by nightmares, where no matter what happens he ends up killing Alabaster, and as time goes on hes forgetting details and such about Alabaster.

When Percy/The Argo crew shows up, he gets yoinked because he'd previously promised Percy he'd return to Camp Half-Blood. He did end up telling Annabeth about what happened with Alabaster, she was not happy 🤗 She was angry, being passive aggressive with Ethan which confused the fuck out of Percy and the others who didn't know what happened or who Alabaster even is.

Now, of course Gaea would have to come into play somehow, or else why would we call it the Gaea au. Right? Right! She revives Alabaster 🤗

Of course, Ethan doesn't know this, how would he? He is blissfully unaware that Alabaster isn't in the Underworld until he goes along with Hazel and Leo to get the sheet of bronze from Narcissus, only to find Gaea has deployed her dear little son of Hecate to act as a guard.

When they arrive to the pond, they're knocked to the ground by an unknown force, and thenn 🤭

Alabaster technically ends up winning, disarming Ethan and putting him on the ground. But he doesn't kill him.

Alabaster also appears with Otis and Ephialtes, posing as a guard for Nicos jar, hes not very good at that job though. When Nico is released, Alabaster puts a protection rune on his back and gets him out of the way before almost immediately attacking Ethan 💀

They run into him again in the House of Hades while fighting Clytius and Pasiphaë, alongside Lamia. Alabaster winds up stabbing Jason after he got in the way of his and Ethans fight. Although Alabaster has had countless opportunities and openings to kill Ethan, he chooses not to. An action that's not gone unnoticed by Lamia, and eventually leads her to trying to kill him as she views it as treason 🤗

With Alabaster injured and incapacitated, Ethan decides to drag his ass onto the Argo so hes just kinda there now. Lotta drama nobody aside from Annabeth trusts him as he's tried to kill Ethan countless times 💀 🙏 Alabaster is flighty and unpredictable, Ethan and Annabeth are the only ones who try to talk to him, Annabeth is the only one he allows near him as he lashes out whenever Ethan comes into the sickbay which is where hes been stuck. He's impatiently waiting for the crew to kill him because why else would he be here 💀

After leaving the camp, Nico was found by Kronos' army. Luke and Kronos successfully persuaded him to join, but they did something wrong and Nico became much darker and more obsessed.

Nico was unstable and made other demigods regret their choice just by his presence, so Kronos ordered Ethan to watch Nico. Unfortunately for Ethan, Nico had an attachment to him.

hi, I have a very chaotic headcanon of Percy Jackson I want to know if you support (it’s a long one that barely makes sense I’ve just decided this in my head because I like random ships and I also like not having my favorite character,Ethan Nacamara, die-)

Ethan when everyone thinks he died isn’t actually dead. In reality he just faked his death and ended up running away where he lived on the streets for over a year no one managing to spot him while he hid, not realizing people weren’t after him anymore. In this one day he ended up hiding near the way station and Jo and Emmie found this scared child and took him in. I could see him not talking much and becoming close with Jo and Emmie then in this headcanon him and Lit end up together There- idk my brain decided Lit would protect Ethan

Love love love this headcannon and definitely think Ethan and lit would become good friends, they both know what it’s like to be betrayed and wanting to do better with themselves. As for a ship I don’t really see it since lityerses is centuries years older and don’t wanna pull a caleo imo

Do you think there are insanely few couples with Percy in this fandom? Characters that are well thought out and have a backstory. For example, Rachel and Percy are an interesting dynamic and a repetition of the Theseus myth with a different end to the story. Or Percy and Michael Yu (Apollo's son who fell off the bridge) It would be interesting if he survived: Percy feeling guilty for the fall, and Michael comforting him. Or Will and Percy, where both feel the guilt of the survivor (Will is the doctor, and Percy is the commander and leader), or the same Percy and Nico with their story and attempts to talk. Percy and Ethan would be a real pain in the ass with a story and explanations. But they don't nominate them as a couple? Like Pernico, they can be found, but everything else? Will's only fanfiction/The Percy I found was the one where he cheated on Apollo with Will, and Will cheated on Nico with Percy. And I really can't stand cheating.

It's a general problem in the fandom, especially prominent in Percy ships, which is that there are very few of them, and it is made to seem that liking any Percy ship other than Percabeth is taboo. It's only recently that there's an influx in other ships, and even that is miniscule in comparison to the excessive Percabeth fic pool . I know how bloody frustrating that is. For a good amount of time, I have vented over that.

Another problem along the same lines is fanart. There's extremely little fanart on any other Percy ships barring Percabeth. This has created a very toxic sort of environment in the fandom for alternative shippings. It also discourages people from making other fanarts and fanfics due to certain toxic Percabeth fans. ( I am not saying all just most of them). Hence why you won't see much material on most of the ships you have mentioned.

I think the fandom has forgotten that people can ship whoever they want, canon or otherwise, and that's the point of a fandom. We are allowed to disagree with the canon and dislike cause in the end books are subjective and we can choose to like and prefer whatever interests us as a reader and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT! Especially to Percabeth stans and recently Solangelo stans, you have your ship, no need to force it on everyone else, sure you can make points about why it's good or why people should like it but that doesn't mean have to or should.

You can dislike a ship and even express why you dislike it, but you can't tell people what they can and can't like. Just give your opinion, try not to be negative or offensive , just stick to the facts and objective reasons why you dislike it or just say it's a personal preference .

I personally generally either favor Perachel or Percy with no romantic partner. But I have read and seen some other Percy ship fanfics.

Perpollo and Pernico are kind of popular and I have read some fanfics of that category though Pernico's popularity suffered greatly due to Solangelo stans as such and some other opinions. (I have covered my thoughts on both Solangelo and Pernico in an old post of mine so check that out if you want).

Other alternative Percy ships I have seen mostly are Percy/Jason or Jercy. I kind of like where thea are going with it cause I really liked Percy and Jason's this odd but very unique dynamic they have and I really wanted it explored more but after the events in HoO and TOA and what happened to Jason( I refuse to accept it still due to no actually compelling and necessary reason behind it plot wise or character development wise), I kind of gave up on it. I really thought Rick Riordan would flesh their dynamic out more thoroughly other than whatever misguided rivalry he was trying to stoke between them. (Let's just agree that despite minor envy they might harbor for each other, they have much higher respect and admiration between them).

There's I think a few who consistently ship Percy and Artemis I think? Which I really thought was very contradictory and just simply not viable in canon or by fanfic cause Artemis is a maiden goddess.

There's Perclarisee which I mean I am neutral on it. I can see what it's based on but I actually liked Clarisse with Chris and I kind of thought of them better of as good friends who bicker a lot( I have a post on Perclarisse as well).

I once made the mistake of searching all Percy ships on ao3. It's safe to say I will never be doing that again ever. The absurd and deranged pairings I saw. Not even bleach will get that out of my eyes or mind.

As for Michael Yew, I am not sure about a romantic pairing of him and Percy, but in an au, it can kind of work, I guess, but I just don't see the appeal. I mean one moment of trauma bonding can't be the basis for a whole relationship.

As for Will and Percy, I see the parallel you are trying to make, but Percy can heal himself, so he's not really in need of a healer most of the time. Cause his power and ambrosia fix most of his injuries. Overall, I just don't think they are very compatible, but I will try and find fics about them for you.

Ethan and Percy? Where the hell did you find that? I don't think anyone ships that. Percy should have killed Ethan the first chance he got. That bastard really really had it coming. Even after Percy spared him so many times, he had the audacity to try and kill Percy. Absolutely not a pairing.

This is like the people who ship Percy and Luke. There are some, and I have never understood it. Luke tried to kill Percy multiple times and showed no remorse for it, and Ethan is the same. They are enemies, not a pairing. Not everything has to be enemies to lovers. But I suppose to each their own, everybody has their own preferences.

As for cheating , to whoever wrote that fic, stay the hell away from pjo respectfully cause neither Percy nor Will would ever do that to anyone. This literally goes against their very nature itself. To people who write cheating Percy fics, his fatal flaw is literally LOYALTY, what the hell is wrong with you?

Anyway, I am very sorry for this devolved into a rant. If I find any Percy and Will fics, I will reblog this post with recommendations.
