Of course !! I’m always open to asks ! :3 - Extremely unpopular take : I think you can like Niragi and hate Shibuki. When people talk about the SA characters they ALWAYS nitpick about this and it’s like oh my god shut up dude their whole character doesn’t rely on 1-2 things they did. “They’re basically the same bc they both SA’D” no they’re not tell me you watched the show without paying attention to the characters without telling me :sob: - One thing I would change about the Netflix adap. : Take out the unnecessary SA scene between Heiya and Arisu. That was so weird of them to just throw in and I think it really ruined Heiya for a lot of people. - My opinion on S3 : I think they’re going to partially follow RETRY. Considering how employed Arisu looks I’m going to assume this is somewhere in the future and judging by hearing Ann’s voice in the trailer we WILL be seeing the other mains (ones from the king of spades battle + niragi and chish). Though, it’s really hard to tell what’s going on considering the photo of Arisu and Usagi in their borderland outfits and some random dude in a wheelchair looking at the HUGE joker card. It leaves many questions unanswered and I might make a separate post about debunking it :) - FAVORITE moment or scene : For a lighthearted one, I think my favorite scene is probably from the manga, when Arisu asks Niragi why he shot Chishiya and he said “Should I have hugged him instead??” For a more serious one, probably Chishiya’s little speech to Arisu after getting shot. It hit hard in both the manga AND live action, but it was really interesting either way :3 - Top 3 fav ships : Nirashiya, Arisagi, and probably Kuiann or Kuzumira (or whatever its called) in that order ! what do you think the adap butchered the most, compared to the manga? is there anything you think it did better, though? very curious since people have different takes on this

Definitely Niragi's character as well as the King of Diamonds ending. Niragi is self explanatory but the King of Diamonds ending pissed me off, making him decide the value of life even though his point was that he literally DIDN'T WANT TO. That got on my nerves I think they might've done the Tatta scene better ngl. Arisu finding him hit WAYYY harder than Tatta taking Arisu with him. It felt more shocking and it was more emotional that way, like the ominous slam of the containers followed by seeing Tatta's bloody hand was way more emotional to me than him straight up just asking. What's one or two connections between characters that you would like to have seen explored more? Similarly, or could be different, is there a connection/bond you wished the fandom explored/acknowledged more as a whole? What about a character?

What game out of all, manga or live action, do you think you'd have the most FUN playing (excluding the death if losing)? If YOU were in the Borderlands, would you choose to try to find the Beach if you heard about it, or stick to yourself/with a small group? What would be the first thing you would do if everyone disappeared?

AAAAH YES an amazing ask from an amazing writer !! I REALLY wish Niragi and Chishiya's dynamic was explored more, especially in the live action. we didn't get nearly enough of them and especially not enough of how they view each other. With almost all the lines about the similarities they have being completely scrapped, little of their dynamic came to life and that's really disappointing :( I'd love to have seen them play a game together, especially a diamonds game. On the other note, I wish the fandom acknowledged Aguni and Heiya more !! Half the fandom shits on Heiya and the other half just calls Aguni buzzcut guy because they didn't find him relevant enough to learn his name !!! Like what the hell man, I think the relationship they had was really something special and it was cool to see Aguni become a sort of father figure and Heiya's admiration for him was honestly just adorable. I honestly think I'd have the most fun playing Tag / 5 of Spades ! Like I think it would be pretty fun to have a group of people and go looking around for the room. Seriously reminds me of games I used to play with my friends and cousins ! Next question, I would stick with a small group. Being alone in the borderlands is dangerous grounds and while it does almost give yourself a little shield from the possible misfortune of a hearts game (looking at you, 7 of hearts..), it doesn't really help your case much if you end up in a clubs or spades game with no one you know. The first thing I'd do if everyone disappeared ? Probably be almost EXACTLY like Arisu and be concerned for a bit, start dilly dallying, then go from LOL!!! to serious in 5 seconds once I saw a game venue. That about sums me up...
