Congratulations!!

Once in a while I think about how much more fun it would have been if Percy Jackson had been made into an animated series instead. Not only because things could be closer to how the fandom envisioned, but also because of the ability for cartoon silliness to more closely be able to capture the kind of humor the books so often had. Not to mention the fact that a lot of neurodivergent people, which the books are aimed at, can pay better attention to cartoons because expressions are easier to read and different characters are easier to keep track of.

But also a big reason I think an animated series would be way funnier is the fact that if it were me making PJO into an animated series, I would make Percy kind of self aware like he was in the books, talking to the reader and breaking the fourth wall like Pinkie Pie every once in a while. (He's the only one who can do this)

Idk I just love Percy breaking the fourth wall especially since I read the books when I was younger and made somewhat of an emotional connection to him so if he talked to me it would be like hey!! I know you!! We're friends going on this adventure together

Honestly, what's growing more and more is the desire to drop out of history school and study for a degree in biological sciences. But what's holding me back is the question of time. Whenever I feel like changing my major, I think that if I don't pass the entrance exam first time, and when I do get in, it'll take me another four years to graduate, and the expenses my parents have had so far will be thrown away like that.

It's these and other things that I won't let go of, and it's more for the others that I keep going than myself, and that's a pain in the ass....

Yui: What should we do now….?

Reiji: That was my line. Why should we exactly do?

If my key to the hotel is still in the river, then I think fish have already eaten that….

Yuma: Oi~ Is that story really serious?

Yui: Yuma-kun!

Reiji: That’s right. But if you can catch the fish, then maybe…

Yuma: Well if that’s the case, then I will do something.

*Jumps in the lake*

Yui: (huh? He just jumped in the lake)

Reiji: Hey you, what are you planning to do?

Yuma: You can see that I am trying to catch the fish, don’t you?

Reiji: Trying to catch? Don’t tell me that you are doing without using anything..

Yuma: It’s decided and obvious.

Reiji: No, you can’t. I will be back so wait  a moment.

*After an while*

Yui: (Oh, Reiji San is back)

Reiji: You can catch a fish with bare hands, but it will be difficult as fish may run away. Use this.

Yui: (a fishing rope?)

Reiji: Yes, that’s right. If you want to catch a fish then you must use it.

Yuma: But it may take a long time…

Reiji: Leave it to me. I have a good idea. Yuma, you have to drive the fish well and guide it to the fishing rod, but don’t chase it deeply, stop chasing a little away from the rod.

Yuma: Then? What am I gonna do after that?

i’m using a character name generator and it just gave me the name Waffle Treason.  due to this event it is now clear to me that i am have been blessed by the gods.
