The Royal Family Has Released The First Paintings Commissioned By The King That The New Offical Court

The Royal family has released the first paintings commissioned by the King that the new offical court painter Sir Thomas Lawrence has finished. The painter has been given the title of Principal Painter in Ordinary, and will be exclusively painting the royal family both at court and when the family visit other courts. Sir Thomas has been given a rather generous fixed salary, and will surely be living the life of a noblemen with his knew role.

The paintings released today are meant to show the members of the court pictured doing activities they enjoy. It is suspected that the Kings Royal Advisor Duke Jacob Gilbert of Oxfordshire may have chosen this subject so that the kingdom can get to know the royal family better.

The first painting features her Royal Highness Queen Margaret De Lune of  Windenburg standing in her garden. The Queen is known for her green thumb and it is said one of the favourite places of courtiers is her rose garden. As it’s one of the most beautiful parts of the palace.

The second painting features His Royal Highness King Avery De Lune of Windenburg, standing in the royal library. The library has one of the largest collections of books on all topics in the country and the King spends a great deal of time in the library, versing himself on as many subjects as possible. This could be the reason for the Kings infamous wit.

The third painting features Her Royal Highness Princess Avis De Lune of Windenburg, practicing music on her piano, which was a gift to the Princess from the French Queen. Princess Avis has been learning to play the piano since the young age of three, and it is apparently the activity she most enjoys learning from her tutors.

The final painting is of his Royal Highness Crown Prince William De Lune of Windenburg, standing in front of his horse, the aptly named ‘lightning’.The horse was a gift from his father and the Prince is known to spend hours almost daily hunting with the prized steed. The Prince will no doubt have to begin to spend less time galavanting into the forest, and more time learning to be King now that he is 16. His age also brings the promise of a possible betrothal soon, the court is rife with gossip on which young lady the prince may be matched with. Surely it will be a Princess from a country the King hopes to align with?

All the royals are pictured in the royal red of the De Lune house.
