James never told Sirius he and Reggie were dating (This was before the black bros started talking to each other again) so when Sirius and Regulus fixed their relationship, Sirius was amendment on his baby brother and best mate getting along but nothing seemed to work.

Regulus still keeps all of the things James gave him from when they were together. Often sleeping in on of James' sweaters because he likes the smell (but he'll never admit that of course)

James has the tendency to accidentally call people Regulus when he's snogging or shagging them

Modern/Muggle Au: Both James and Regulus randomly drunk call/message each other all the time which some how always ends up with them shagging and waking up bitter about it the next morning

Poor Barty and Lily are their respective rebounds, but neither relationship lasts for the same reason. James expects Lily to be like Reg and Reg expects Barty to be like James. Both relationships end on neutral terms (They stay friends) and in the end Barty dates Evan, and Lily dates Mary

Both of them speak horribly about the other but get extremely defensive if anyone tries the same.

Both of them are extremely jealous of any other romantic partners the other has. In turn both of the will snog random people in front of the other to make them jealous

Has to be the one statement that makes my blood boil because it is always, and I mean ALWAYS under queer ship posts. Like please grow tf up because in all honesty if these ships are bothering you I don't think it's "people in fandoms these days" it's a YOU issue.

It was never said these characters had to stop being friends but if in some people's interpretations they might view these characters as a little more than friends and this happens in all types of media *cough cough* THE COUPLE THAT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT NEVER BECAME CANON* (usually straight ships) *cough cough*. It's the exact same thing just now we have two people of the same gender. See them as brothers/sisters, see them as best pals. That's how YOU interrupt the relationship. STOP FORCING YOUR THOUGHTS ONTO EVERYONE WHETHER IT BE CANON OR NOT

Furthermore the way you treat shipping is a clear show of how long you've been on the internet because if it bothers you so GODDAMN MUCH that two characters of the same gender are being shipped you obviously haven't been here for a long time have you?

Shipping is a fun activity and something lighthearted it's genuinely crazy that some people have whole wars over 2 harmless ships.

I came up with these based off my friends

Peter: Massive gossip girl. Will disappear for HOURS as wormtail listening in on people's conversations to burst into the dorm and go "GUYS YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE WHAT I JUST HEARD". Enjoys hanging out with the girls because they appreciate his gossip.

Sirius: Sometimes just lies because he's bored. Like he'll walk up to like Lily randomly and say something like "I find James the hottest out of all my friends" and he has such a good poker face most people don't know if he's kidding or not

Remus: Says he only reads books for intellectuals but in reality half the time he's reading cheesy romance books, which some how bring him to tears every time he does

James: Cannot be trusted to play music at all. If he had a playlist it would go from playing Moonage Daydream by David Bowie to Hollerback Girl by Gwen Stefani to Washing Machine Heart by Mitski in under 10 minutes. He doesn't see the problem with his music taste
