what i want from season 3 is a prolonged shot of crowley's dark, empty flat—and i mean completely empty—with shattered plant pots and dirt and leaves all around him on the floor.

there is one tiny ray of light coming in from a window and illuminating crowley, who is curled up in a corner with his wings around him. we see a tiny sliver of gold staring directly at us, and then the angle changes and we see aziraphale in heaven, watching crowley (and he knows. he knows he is being watched.)

we do talk about how the spn finale could have been so iconic, powerful and transcended but they instead Did That. However, the thing is that SPN can still be all those things and maybe even more than before if they decide to go down the Chuck Won road once they make a new season/a movie. Imagine Dean figuring out that he is basically in a simulation, in Chuck's perfect world and the only way to break out of it is him believing that he is worthy of being alive. Imagine him rescuing Cas from the empty, a paralled to Cas rescuing him from hell all those years ago, just like what all of us wanted to see. It is all still very much a possibility. And that both scares me and makes me giddy with excitement
