The audacity of Valterri Bottas for not kneeling though? Tell me how can you be teammate with the only black man in the sport, a man who experiences racism first hand and so wants to make a difference, how can you watch him fight every single day against issues that matter so much, and decide voluntarily to not contribute to the cause? Unbelievable. The least you can do is kneel.
you know I really commend pierre for openly discussing his grief and mourning for his friend.
f1 is notoriously anti-sharing your feelings/emotions unless, it’s say, crying over a win/championship or anger over a loss/mistake.
so for pierre to put out an article so open and vulnerable is surprising, but welcome. I hope the newer generation of f1 continues to do this.
