But Angel is working towards redemption and wants to be better, whereas Husk isn't (in fact he doesn't seem to believe he can be better) and doesn't have any plans to get to Heaven but he wants Angel to and is supportive (even if he knows that means he would never see him again)

Husk has seen him at his worst and didn't run away or let him 'self destruct' He related to what Angel was going through, almost like they found similarities with each other in a small world?

Angel working towards redemption from Hell to Heaven and not feeling like a perfect person but not wanting to be awful, cue Husk coming in with "baby, that's fine by me" being accepting of who he is (also Angel not being his real name but the persona Husk can see through)

I know I won't get much and that there isn't much content since most people prefer other pairings but I think of them a lot.

i have a dissenting opinion.

i have been seeing some variation of the "jemily won't happen because x" posts for a couple of weeks now and many of them are something along the lines how it wouldn't be realistic because jj has been married for 12 years/been with will for 17 years, they have kids, will just had a cancer scare, etc. etc.

and listen, i don't think it's going to happen either. i'm 95% sure it isn't going to happen. but not because it wouldn't be realistic for jj to hop into a relationship within a year after losing or divorcing will??? y'all. humans are fucking messy.

it's one thing to not want jj to jump into emily's arms in this situation. that's totally valid. but to say it WOULDN'T happen is simply naive. long term relationships end and people move on quickly all the time. i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sometimes people even move on before leaving their current long term relationships. do i think jj would do that? no.

do i think she and will could separate (even after his cancer scare, especially after his cancer scare), and she could move on at a speed that is potentially unhealthy for her and everyone else involved? absolutely. jj is troubled. she always has been. she has never consistently made great decisions. and that is part of what makes her character rich and intriguing and relatable and wonderful. that's part of what makes all the characters on this show so great. they're all fucked up, guys.

the reason i don't think it's going to happen is because that would require cbs to approve 3 out of the 4 female leads being queer. and not just a casual mention of this-woman-who-is-married-to-a-man-happens-to-be-bisexual queer, but actively-engaging-in-wlw-behavior queer. and while paramount plus is the premium cable equivalent of cbs (dating myself with that...), it's still cbs. getting gay tara, while wonderful and thrilling, was the nail in the jemily coffin imo.

THAT BEING SAID. can y'all chill with calling the people who are excited about the teased possibility crazy and delusional take a breath? it's okay for fans to be excited about the possibility. it doesn't make them dumb. this is what fandom is about. i'm excited about the possibility because it's fucking fun. it gives me something to hope for. it's like talking about santa claus at christmas. do i expect a fat man to squeeze down my chimney? no. but i'm going to pretend because it's fun. leave them alone. let them hope and play and make headcanons for how it might happen.

especially because, from a true-to-life storytelling perspective, it's not crazy at all.

Wink wink nudge nudge having Phillip end up with Eloise only works if the writing showed it. Like having Phillip be interested in advocating for women, them two meeting each other at least once, and you know saving their book moments for those two. Like their first meeting was given to Theloise, then the writing in the pamphlets was also given to Theloise, lastly Eloise running away from a sibling's wedding to see if her love interest is compatible with her was also given to Theloise. Also! The general audience isn't stupid! So stop insinuating that! Eloise's book is called To Sir Philip with Love. Like it's not our fault that Phillip was a minor character and very forgettable. Lastly, if Phillip is meant to be endgame, surely Chris Fulton should have been asked about his return. Especially during the Scottish BAFTAs or in press for Outlander. But no one asked, which is striking as TSPWL released over 20 years ago, and the title isn't really a secret! This is all is in sharp contrast to how Theo was treated like a male lead in the marketing and how Calam Lynch is still cagey to this very day about talking Bridgerton.

Still can’t get over the fact that Emily put her whole Prentussy into suppressing her feelings for JJ for nearly two decades just for Miss Jennifer ‘it gives me you’ Jareau to undo it all in 4 words. I am scratching and clawing at my enclosure, PLEASE let Jemily be canon.
