Buried Deep

Buried Deep

Die

Survive

Die

Survive

It's already buried deep down there

I hide it behind a secret glare

"Maybe someday we'll talk"

Could you just take a walk?

Fuck off

Step off

I'm fine

What I'm thinking is all mine

Tell? Never

Whatever

I'm fine I tried to portray

Just go away

Why must you ask every time?

The answer is always going to be no, and that I'm fine

The more you bring it up the more I'm going to think

I don't want to think about it, tears no longer on the brink

It's all over and done

It's buried all the way, just leave it, if you get pushier trust me I'll run

Some relationships I don't want to mend

That hand don't lend

It's been too long

What's wrong?

I'll never tell

It's already buried deep in a well

You've said that you've been there

And everywhere

But you don't know

Just go

You wouldn't get it

But it's already buried in a pit

In your office, pure,

Adrenaline, you'll never know what I endure

In there my mask

Will always last

I'll never tell, clenched teeth

It's already buried beneath

Just give it up

Because I'll never throw it up

Solid living death

Forever hold my breath

Observing

I sit here observing

Observing other people's lives

Observing my life Observing how the canoe

Hugs the dock

As if it knows it will be dark soon Observing the smell of the pines

And a pontoon boat going by

Observing a kid learning to scuba dive Observing the twilight sky reflected picassoed

On the fairly smooth

Glimmering water Observing a summer romance

Taking place on a tall rock

Observing my sunburnt skin peeling when I get the feeling... Observing how the mood of the water can change

So fast

So shifty The ducks already passed

Knowing this night is my last,

Probably for a while

Of this lake girl style

Friend

I know you are hurting

You're like me, you're searching

You say you've been hurt before,

But I won't walk out the door

If you wish to, you'll open up,

But I won't push

A door that can only be opened from

the inside

Instead, I sit here,

With you, and near,

And

Simply

Be your friend My good friend wrote this to me!  Surprise!

You Should Be A Crime

You should be a crime

And I would love to watch you put your hands in the air and get caught

That’s not true, no,

I just want your time

I would like to watch you struggle to open locked doors

You’d fight and fail to maim the doorframe

No,

I just want to be yours

I hope you age like fine wine

Slow and always with such grace

Yes,

I just want you to stay, my silly valentine

I want to be with you while you shine

You’ll always shine; you're the shooting star of my life

Yes,

I just want you to be mine

Shoulder ache

Shoulder ache

Stomach ache

I'm drowning in a lake

I am not

What you thought

And I never will be

Beautiful

In your world

And now you seem so fake

I'm going

Away now

Just to avoid the pain

Come

Back

Limited Old times

Not

All

Is always okay

Please just talk

I will gawk

Please let us be alone

I'm not great

Do not hate

I know I come on strong

I know that

I’m awkward

But I know I love you

I will dance

In a trance

If you give me a chance

I’m Diseased

I’m diseased of adults

Assuming the worst from me

When it is just me

Then they give me a hard time

For nothing

I’m diseased of being a millennial

And adults assuming

That I’m lazy

And addicted to my phone

When it’s just me who just so happens to be different

I’m tired of feeling

Like I’m worthless

And no one will ever

Truly

Fall in love with just me and I them

I’m diseased

Of teachers

Thinking they are better

Because of a degree

At the moment I’m just 1,000 degrees of rage

I don’t want to go to school

I don’t want this factory process

Of being separated

Embarrassed

And torn apart

I’m diseased of being a product

And not a person

The only thing I’ve learned from school

Is that if you don’t want to be bent around

Then keep your mouth shut

I’m diseased with adults

Smoldering my fire

My passion

My,

Will to live and carry on…

Paranoia

I'm not clean

I'm rusted

I'm so close to being busted

‘bout time I did

Did I really think I could make it,

Without falling into that pit?

Mount my head to the wall

Like I am a piece of art

And nothing more than a fart

Parading into my storm

In your way trying to make me happy

It’s leaving me feeling crappy

Ask me again

What it’s like to feel,

The spin of this lopsided wheel

Rationally shrugging

Give me away, Kenzie

Then I’ll call it more of a frenzy

A secret

If you're accepting, I don’t care if you know

I'm notorious for my one none existent greeting

Not to mention the fact

That I might not be what you think

With my virtual paper and ink

Out with failure being my success

In predicting my life, I didn’t really see this

With octopus camouflage, it’s hit or miss

Imagine me as you did before

To go and fix it back

Next time when I'm unable to, I’ll pick up my own heavy slack

Dead on the inside

I'm rotting, in my worn out shell

I think this just turned back into hell

One Way Magic

I live in a world of unfinished poems

Sometimes I lose them

And it hurts

But I suppose there is a beauty in it

In the fact that it was created

Then went missing into the universe

Sometimes I forget that old ways

Can be the best ways

There is beauty in lost things

Beauty in destruction

How things are created

Then just cease to exist

Like a one way magic trick

Now you see it,

Now you don't

And you shall

Never see it

Again

But the universe will move on

And there will be more days

And more things will be created

No Heart Inside

Steady beat of the drum

Just the turn of the thumb

But I don't have the nerve

So I kick it to the curb

She doesn't seem to have a heart

Even if it hit her in between the eyes she wouldn't know art

Don't show

How in my world the cold wind blows

I tried to see it within her

But it's all a blur

You can tell that she doesn't root for the underdog

Even though she is older than I, she doesn't know how to see through the fog

I thought that you were one of the good guys

I now know the truth and the seemingly harmless lies

There's nothing you can do

I already wrote a poem about that too

I don't want her to see

The inside of me

The things about me that she doesn't get

Outside of her net

For not doing it, she thinks I'm crazy

She thinks that I'm just being lazy

She probably thinks that I'm dumber than dirt

But I'm just a bit broken and hurt

I got a second chance

Away that idea went as I danced

I've learned too late

But that's just my damn fate

So, I would prefer

If you please don't show my writing to her

Life Goes On

Breathe

I tell myself as I want to leave

But right now I don’t know how

I have been stuck

In a little bit of a rut

And my hatred for fakes Grew to the size of lakes

It feels like I'm playing a game

That doesn’t have any aim

I'm curious which is why I play

While I keep my feelings at bay

I have become tired of hiding behind doors

And metaphors

Frozen in mid breath,

Sitting before death

The reaper scares me no longer

Not because I've become stronger,

But because I've become scared of going on as life does

Just because

We Have Each Other

Depressed and weak, united we stand

Hand in hand

We hang on by a strand

We silently have each other’s backs

Someone else has what I lack

Sometimes we fall apart and crack

Some draw on their sides

Some hide

Behind a blind

When we are choking

We all have our ways of coping

But we still take each other under our wing

Sometimes dominoes that stand tall

Uncontrollably we fall

But we always get back up like a bouncy ball

But one thing that we’ve got

We understand a lot

We hope that if we draw that we'll never get caught

Between us we must

Share a secret trust

We know the feeling of having heavy hearts full of rust

We hide the pain in our eyes

Terrified of anymore goodbyes

We start faking smiles at sunrise

Most people don’t “get it”

But we do and that’s why we are close knit

Some of us have grit

We don’t use it when we need it most

Like when you're thinking about trying to overdose

Some of us like to hide in the shadows like ghosts

It’s hard to watch the change of a season

When you can’t find any real reasons

To keep fighting your vicious demons

Some of us can feel pain all the way to our bones

We think we are alone

But we’re not, together we have grown

We can do this

Our mission we won’t diss

Togetherness is almost bliss
