It's okay to grieve for someone you hated, even if you're glad they're gone. It's okay to miss someone you hoped would leave your life for good when they're finally gone forever. It's okay to miss those good moments, especially if they're so small in a sea of so many bad memories. And, hey, it's okay if you're grieving for someone that they never got to become it's okay it's okay trust me it's okay

It will never not hurt to hear your close friends talk about men like they're the scum of the earth, like they know every man. And when you give them the look, like "what about me" they say "oh of course I didn't mean you". Of course they didn't.

Idk what trans man needs to hear this but you're NOT evil or disgusting for being a man. You do NOT have to suffer for the sins of the patriarchy committed by cis dudes. You ARE allowed to be upset when people "affirm" your gender by malgendering you.

You DO deserve a community that uplifts you. You DO deserve to experience trans joy. You DO deserve to have your voices heard and your struggles recognized. Wanting the bare minimum of solidarity is NOT "making everything about trans men".
