Ohh this is so quintessentially them, with Roger all over Rafa, giggling, and Rafa teasing, saying, “You won’t remember, but I will” - just the casual intimacy of that, of unconscious touches and genuine laughter, ending with Roger essentially saying, “I don’t miss those days, except I do, because of my rivalry with Rafa, how special that was.” PLEASE.
WHAT?!?? WHERE DID HE SAY THAT?
roger federer calling playing doubles with his biggest rival rafa nadal the day he retired “romantic” was not on my 2024 bingo card
I'm still here 🥺❤️

they're so annoying old couple. !!!!!
ANNOYING x2. also leg touch.
of course they had to hug at the end too. because why not?
I think Rafa thought to kiss him forgetting they were on court in front of all the people ,I don't remember well who said that ,Rafa or Roger said "when we are together all around us seems to disappear we are just the two of us" ,what a romantic scene 😭😭😭💗
You guys need to get a room 🥵🥵🥵

Roger Federer & Rafael Nadal - Roland Garros - Semi-Final
First Roland Garros without Roger or Rafa since 1998. ❤️🩹
I think Rafa should put a trigger warning before every "hola a todos"
Sascha and Rafa practice at Santana stadium, looks like they had great fun together! ☺️
First off, I really need to get this off my chest because it’s been bugging me for the longest time.
I really can’t believe that there are people who would accuse Rafa of retiring because “he is a sore loser and knew he would be demolished by Del Potro.”
I, personally, felt that there was definitely something wrong with him at the beginning of the match. It broke my heart more to see him call a medical time out and have his knee strapped once more. Yet, Rafa still continued to play to show respect to his opponent.
Look at what happened last year: after winning the US Open, he participated in Laver Cup less than 2 weeks later, and played the most matches for team Europe. Almost another 2 weeks later, he played and won in Beijing, then played in Shanghai and lost to Roger in the final. Almost another 2 weeks later (I think), he played in Paris, only to pull out in the second round I think and it was quite obvious that he was limping. Finally, the ATP World Tour Finals. Rafa lost in the 1st Round Robin, with his limp clearer than daylight.
I mean, don’t you think Rafa does not want to repeat his mistakes last year, especially when he has been talking more on wanting to play longer? I get it with Roger. It was difficult for him to move because the conditions were more difficult that anyone else expected (like Novak nearly suffering from a heatstroke again). With Rafa, he already played 2 grueling matches that everyone thought would be easy for him. Then the epic almost 5 hour match against Thiem. It definitely would take a massive toll on me as well.
Sorry for the long rant. I just REALLY had to get this off my chest. I’m just praying Rafa has a speedy and successful recovery 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. If there’s anything Rafael Nadal does best, he bounces back no matter what 💪🏻. ¡VAMOS, MI CAMPEÓN! 🇪🇸🎾🔥
There aren’t enough words to describe how heartbroken I am at this moment. What made me more worried was when Rafa revealed that he started feeling the pain as early as his match against Basilashvili. My heart goes out to him and praying for a speedy recovery 🙏🏻🙏🏻. If there’s one thing Rafa Nadal always does, it’s bouncing back no matter what 💪🏻.
Congrats as well to Del Potro. Definitely put up a fight, but also had great sportsmanship at the end. It’s very hard to hate the lovable giant 😊.
The entire time, I felt like I was gonna die of either a stroke or a heart attack 😂😂😂 Rafa proves time and time again that he is one of the greatest fighters in the tennis world 🎾. Props to Domi as well. Making more than 70 winners and even bagel a set from Rafa. These two are absolute warriors on court.
#THROWBACK to when Rafa appeared in Shakira's music video for "Gypsy"/"Gitana" 😍♥️😍♥️
This is probably one of the few songs that made me think "I should've listened to the lyrics or the audio first," cuz I practically couldn't focus on the music every time Rafa was shirtless 😵😵😵. Shakira is SOOOOO lucky 😫
Rafa is shooting daggers at Benoit Paire as he (Paire) throws and smashes his racquet and expects the ballboy to pick it up and return it to him. Can't remember the last time when Rafa was disappointed in his opponents behavior.
HOLY SHIT! Rafa attended Shakira's concert in Toronto and even busting a few moves for us 😍His hips don't lie either 😉😉😉Can he get any sexier 😉😍?
Time and time again, I'm mesmerized by Rafa's determination and perseverance. The way he plays every point as if it were his last, as if his soul depended on it. This is the #1 reason why he'll always be my favorite tennis player. (Sorry Fedfans 😅)
Me? I would be star struck for a few seconds, then I'd grab for the same thing he's grabbing for and hopefully, HOPEFULLY 🤞🏼🤞🏼, our fingers touch 😂😊 Then, he'd say "Sorry." I'd say "No, it's okay." And have a conversation with him 😂😍
Had an incredibly rough and crappy day today, yet everything faded away as soon as I saw this photo of mi campeón. His incredibly beautiful smile brought out mine 💙❤️💛. Congratulations to both Rafa and Garbiñe! 👏🏻🇪🇸🎾
@garbimuguruza: Mejores atletas 2017! Best athletes of 2017! 😜😜😜🏆🍭🎊
HE'S TOO PRECIOUS FOR THIS WORLD 😱😱😍😍😍😭😭😭
Rafa: [game face on] Rafa: [smiles and becomes a human marshmallow]
US Open 2017
First of all, this is my opinion so please don't start a flame war. Second, I can't believe Cilic acted like he ACTUALLY WON the entire 5th set. I get it, you win, it's okay to celebrate. But that match was NOT a real win for him. Do you see Rafa doing THAT whenever his opponents retire, I THINK NOT! He even has the courtesy to clap for them as they leave the court. Only then does he celebrate, but even after that, he STILL acknowledges that injured opponent during his own press conferences.
Now, I'm 100% a Nadal fan, but I'm willing to watch the men's singles final (since my mom LOVES Federer) just to see Roger pummel and destroy his ass on court.
