sirius: well you said it yourself, it’s 9:15…which is basically 9:30 which means that it’s almost 10:00 and i really have to be in bed by 11:00. so…i haven’t the time to do anything, really.

both of them stayed on their floors, staring at each others’ foreheads in the camera frame, wheezing with laughter for about 10 minutes.

The difference between the Black brothers when it came to being heir was that Sirius hated that everyone only saw him as the rich, hot, powerful heir the the Black thrown because he wanted to be truly seen for who he was and what he felt. But Regulus loved only being seen as the rich, hot, powerful heir because he hated the idea of people really knowing him and seeing his emotions.

ao3 is facing a ddos attack from an overseas right-wing anonymous group because it contains "degeneracy and disgusting things like LGBT and NSFW".
they're not the only right-wing group that is attacking fanfiction sites because of queer & nsfw content. the Heritage foundation, the US right wing think tank that writes laws for republicans, wrote an article about how "big tech turns kids trans" in which they're advocating for the Kid's Online Safety Act to pass because it will give state attorney generals power to sue websites for "potentially harmful content towards minors". in this article they point out websites like wattpad, tumblr, tiktok, twitter as sites that GOP attorney generals can and will target for censorship if this bill passes. all places where fandom, that's mostly queer, hangs out.
if you think this bill has no chance of passing because of all the red flags it poses, think again. it currently has 38 cosponsors in the senate, and is being pushed by the democrats as a "protecting the children!!" type bill.
there are left-aligned orgs in congress rn lobbying for this bill to pass. july is extremely decisive, because if KOSA goes through to markup it'll be bundled with the Earn It act, Restrict, and all the other bad internet bills and passed as a package, completely censoring the internet forever.

regulus black was not shy, don't get me wrong, he didn't like people, and he was introverted, but he wasn't shy. He was his parents' perfect child, which means he knew how to talk to people. he knew how to talk about topics he knew nothing about for hours. He was good at finding out I formation about people through simple conversations and very good a saying the right time. He was not easy to manipulate or weak. He lied easily, mastered occlumency young, and was good at manipulating others. He could act well and knew exactly what to say and do to get people to think and do whatever he wanted. He was always better at it than sirius. Regardless of their age or their status, people knew that regulus was better at people.
regulus black loved swimming from the moment his uncle Alphard taught him when he was three. He loved swimming because it made the word quiet, and it felt like flying. He loved summers in France and would drag sirius to the pond at dawn. Sirius hated swimming, until he became an anamagous, because he thought he would drown. When Regulus got older and Sirius left, he would swim with pandora. He would laugh and be free. Regulus found freedom and safety in swimming. So when he released he was going to drown in that cave he was happy that he would die in freedom he only wished he could he see the brightest star one more time.
omg so i had this thought right, and like sirius and james out on a aurors mission yoke and james casts his patronus, but its not a stag like usual. nope its (whatever you headcannon reggie having as his or like reggies anamagus) and james is frozen in shock cause he and reggie had been dating in secret for aaaaages now and like reg is in his last year at hogwarts so james is falling even more in love with reg cause he realises his patronus has changed to match regs meanwhile sirius is sooooo fuckin confused like my man has every theory going through his head trying to figure out who has stolen his best friends heart and its not until reg sends him a patronus message and he connects the dots. but he doesnt tell them he knows, oh no. he fucks with them as much as possible until it gets to like james just blurting it out.

I can't find this on fanfic and i swear I'm going insane 5 miunits ago I was convinced it was a marauders fic but now that I'm thinking about it more it might have been bad batch but god fucking damn it I need this as a marauders fic!!!
What the fic actually is is crosshair is techs safety person so when he leave tech starts writing letters to him that he hides in his room but after tech dies and crosshair comes back crosshair finds the letters and reads them and it's from hid pov
But now imagine a marauders edition of this where Regulus writes Sirius letters after he left but never sends them just keeps them in a box in his room then years later when Sirius is living in grimmaul place(is that how you spell that idk) Sirius finally works up the courage to go in his brother's room (which obviously kretcher Katcher Kracher htf do you spell the little elf's name has kept perfect) anyway when Sirius goes into Reg room he find and reads the letter and it would all be gloriously depressing
So anyway I did go insane I found the bad batch fic and I need the marauders version on my desk by Monday
