I’ve been thinking for a while now that I’ll do this once I reached 1K subscribers and I did so here we go. Before I start I just wanted to say that I am in no way a professional. I am not a nutritionist or anything. These are just things I thought after some research and/or things I tried on myself that work for me. Over the past two months, I’ve lost about 5kg (11lbs) per month. So if you’re doing better, perhaps you don’t need to read this. Enough small talk now, here it begins:
1. Try and exercise a little bit daily (I hate exercising but I’m trying to follow this advice myself anyway). You don’t have to do crazy work-outs. Go at your own rhythm. I personally try to do 5minutes squats – 1 minute jumping sack – 5 minutes squats at least once a week.
2. Avoid junk food as much as you can! But it’s ok to have some once in a while if you really have to (with friends or family). Just eat little of it. If it’s just once, you’ll be fine.
3. If people think you aren’t eating enough, just add lettuce to your meal. 100g of lettuce is only 15cals so you can full your plate with it and eat so little cal even though it looks like you ate a huge amount of food.
4. Lettuce really is your best friend. You can eat a lot without having much calorie. So if you’re terrible hungry, have as much lettuce as you want. It will fill up your stomach and won’t make you gain any weight.
5. GREEN TEA AND BLACK COFFEE ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS. Drink them unsweetened. Even if you don’t like the taste, you’ll get used to it.
6. Weighed yourself only in the morning after you peed and before you drink any water. This is the only time in the day you’ll see your actual weight on the scale. The rest of the day, it’s higher because your body hasn’t processed the food yet and you are full with all the water you drank. So weighing yourself any other time of the day will just make you feel awful for nothing.
7. In the morning, drink 1 glass of the coldest water you can find and then 1 cup of hot unsweetened green tea. It will kick-start your metabolism and boost it for the day. THIS is your new breakfast.
8. Never fast for more than 36h. After that, you are no longer burning sugar nor fat. After 36h your body starts eating away at your muscles, including your heart. Which is why so many anorexics end up having heart problems.
9. Fasting for too long is bad for your body and health. It increases the risks of binging afterward (which is why so many people are stuck in a binging-fasting circle because after binging they fast to punish themselves / try to maintain weight and then it makes them binge) and makes it harder to lose weight afterward because your body stock everything you eat as fat because it doesn’t know when it will get food again.
10. If you really want/need to fast, then do it more safely. Fast for maximum 36h and then break your fast with something low cal like a serving of lettuce or an apple and then go back to fasting. You’ll see that you’ll have even better results this way.
11. DRINK WATER. At least 2L per day.
12. Hot green tea and hot black coffee are natural appetite suppressant. Green tea is also well-known to help with weight loss.
13. Allow yourself to eat a little bit more sometimes. Or to eat something you like that has lots of calories in small quantity. This way, you satisfy your cravings and are less likely to end up binging.
14. If you aren’t eating much, take most of your meals in front of your family so they see you eating and don’t get too suspicious.
15. If your family is trying to make you eat more than you want, pretend you already ate a lot (ie say you ate cake with friends at school/work and it was so good you ate several slices) or that you’re not feeling well or say that you’re so full you’re stomach hurts / so full you’re going to vomit if you take as much as one more bite.
16. If someone hears your stomach growling, says it’s because its digesting.
17. Avoid getting under 500cals on a regular basis because then your body will start stocking fat.
18. Even though I hate to exercise, I love to walk and it helps with my weight loss. Whenever you can, walk instead of using the bus / car.
19. If you ate too much because of family / friends, don’t freak out. Just go for a long walk or exercise. You will burn it off.
20. I know I like sometimes to skip lunch and instead, use my lunch break to go for a walk. You might wanna do the same.
21. Exercise doesn’t have to last hours long straight. When I’m at home and think about it, I do 1 minute of squats everytime I go to the toilets. And since we drink a lot of tea/water, it’s quite often. 😉
22. If you feel dizzy / weak please eat something!

- black coffee - cigarettes (preferably Djarum Cherry - fights my sweets craving AND takes hunger away) - 3L of water (or more) - coke zero - multivitamin (I use Centrum Women - it’s pretty complete) *set an alarm and do 20 sit-ups and 40 mountain climbs every half hour* I’m aiming for 36 hours (currently at my 15th hour). I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m so fucking sick of skinny or thin girls telling me my weight doesn’t affect how people see me. My family and my friends all tell me I look fine and that my weight and size doesn’t matter. Well, it fucking matters.
They’ve never had a guy block them because he found out they were fat.
They’ve never had the struggle of not being able to buy a shirt that they love because it isn’t in their size.
They’ve never had the problem of putting a ring on that they got as a present and it doesn’t fit.
They’ve never had people ask them if they ever stop eating.
They’ve never had people tell them to lose weight because ‘they’ll look better.’
They’ve never had someone laugh in their face and tell them their crush would never like them because they’re fat.
I’m just so fucking sick of my thin and skinny friends telling me I look fine. No, I don’t look fine. If I looked fine, I would’ve been happy. I’ll be fine once I’m smaller than all of you.

these are the rules i’ll be following throughout the month of august to get my body and mind in really good shape before school starts!
1. wake up at 9am latest everyday.
2. mini-workout before shower.
3. 500 MAX daily calorie limit
4. NO JUNK. NO CARBS. only fruit, veggies & lean meats
5. drink 2-3L of water everyday
6. study study study!! at least 3 hours everyday
7. watch educational videos & podcasts everyday
8. eat only between 12pm and 7pm.
9. try to fast at least one day a week
10. face masks 3 times a week
11. grow nails & hair out
12. at least one cup of green tea per day
13. always take vitamins
14. mini-workout before bed
15. bedtime 11pm latest
